Nominator's rationale: to make consistent with other similar categories, e.g. Category:People from North East Derbyshire (district), Category:People from South Gloucestershire (district) (and many others) and to enable it to be used with Template:Cathead English people by place, note this would undo Wikipedia:Categories for discussion/Log/2017 June 20#Category:People from South Derbyshire (district), which used as its (to my thinking weaker) argument that the parent category and main article South Derbyshire were not disambiguated.   • I would be in favour of removing (district) from those 2 as well, as we have North East Derbyshire and South Gloucestershire but not North East Derbyshire (district) or South Gloucestershire (district). Categories are supposed to follow articles. Oculi (talk) 13:03, 1 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
