Questions

  1. Of your contributions to Wikipedia, are there any about which you are particularly pleased, and why?
I am particularly pleased with my contributions to all articles relating to G-Unit. When I first began editing, the core articles (G-Unit, Lloyd Banks, Tony Yayo, Young Buck) were very poor. I did somewhat re-write them. Although they are not by any standards excellent, I believe that they are now readable and what there is of them is written and formatted well. I also helped to found the G-Unit Records WikiProject to which I mainly contribute.
  2. Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or do you feel other users have caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?
I have been in a few conflicts with users. One of my first conflicts was with a user about the structure of a page. We both disagreed with each other and eventually I went to Wikipedia:Wikiquette alerts for an external opinion. After that the situation has calmed down and we have been editing together. I have also debated with another user about the formatting of certain parts of pages. It escalated into a heated disscussion but was settled by both of us. We also now edit together. (I have purposely not named the users). I believe that if I get into a conflict with an editor in the future, I will settle it the same way as I have in the past.

Other than this I might also recommend trying to avoid comments like this in AfDs. Always, always try to link back your comments to policy, in order to strengthen your position. I did look over a few of your AfD nominations though, which indicate a good understanding of the deletion policy, so that may have been an off-day :)
Your edits are heavily concentrated in the article namespace, so I might recommend stepping up your participation in AfDs and other deletion debates, or discussions of policy, just to broaden your editing experience a little bit.
Otherwise, I think you're doing a fine job. You're also polite and even-handed during discussions. Keep up the good work! :) ~ Riana 16:45, 21 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, Thanks for the review, I often get bored of constantly editing Hip hop articles and often do venture off to take part in community tasks, being a RC Patroller for example. I will also begin to contribute more to WP:XFD's.

Well, let me start by saying that you do a really good job with actual content additions, there's a lot of people here that have never added anything to articles, but you certainly don't fall under that catagory. I like the fact that when you revert vandalism, you always warn the user. I checked a couple of your contribs to WP:AIV and they look fine and resulted in blocks. What you may be interested in is installing something such as popups into your monobook.js, this makes reverting vandalism and navigating around the place much easier. You took a bit of an unfair hit with this report to AN/I - just remember sometimes when you report to AN/I, things won't always go your way - just keep your head up and stay cool (like you did). What I would suggest however is that if you bring up someones conduct to a wider audience, you let them know (except for obvious vandals) - it's just a more respectful thing to do. You have a good ammount of talk page edits showing you can work in a collaborative environment. The one thing that I think you should work on if you wish to run through RfA is your wikipedia space edits. Considering you have over 8000 edits, 340 wikipedia space edits is fairly low. Try participating in more XfD discussions or policy/guidline discussions and become more active on discussion boards. Apart from that, keep up your excellent work - you do a great job :-) Ryan Postlethwaite 17:43, 23 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
