List of United States Air Force Academy alumni[edit]

Nominator(s): RlevseTalk

As the USAFA is much younger than the Naval Academy, this is the only USAFA alum list, but just wait til I get to West Point ;-) FYI, the Coast Guard and Merchant Marine Academies don't have enough known notable alum to make a list, so I just put those in their academy articles in list format.RlevseTalk 00:13, 2 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Resolved comments from Truco
Lead
  • Can it not be expanded further to state more about this list and not the Academy itself?
Can you be more specific?RlevseTalk 02:27, 2 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Oh never mind, I thought this was a specific field when its the general, never mind.--Best, RUCӨ 20:19, 2 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
References
  • MSN Movies is the work while Microsoft is the publisher.
fixed. RlevseTalk 02:27, 2 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
  • If you are going to link some publishers you may as well link all of them or none at all, be consistent.
Are you talking about in the refs? I did not find any publishers linked.RlevseTalk 02:27, 2 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
  • IDK about some of the acronym use such as the DNI, when the site calls itself under "Defense and the National Interest"--Best, RUCӨ 01:54, 2 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
expanded. RlevseTalk 02:29, 2 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
CNN is linked.--Best, RUCӨ 20:19, 2 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Unlinked CNN and spelled it out with (CNN) after it. RlevseTalk 20:24, 2 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

*Comments
    • en dash required in year ranges. Check 'em all!
Ndashes make no sense to me and seem so artificial, but done RlevseTalk 21:05, 5 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
    • Link Rhodes scholar.
It's linked in the lead. RlevseTalk 21:01, 5 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
    • Oelstrom and Stein need to be swapped for initial year sort (in the Superintendents of the Academy section).
Done. RlevseTalk 21:01, 5 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
    • Fred D. Gregory's section should have a ; rather than a carriage return/linefeed between NASA and The first...
Odd, I didn't put it there, fixed. RlevseTalk 21:01, 5 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
    • "Other notable military graduates" - a difficult one but what criteria have been used to determine "notable" here?
Anyone wiki noteworthy I could find. RlevseTalk 21:01, 5 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
    • "boyfriend of former N*Sync member Lance Bass" seems somewhat trivial compared to landing a Boeing on the Hudson...
Agreed but he also won the amazing race; that's pop culture for you, meets wiki notabilityRlevseTalk 21:03, 5 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Images I don't want to start this drama all over again, but we really need the images to be in tip-top shape. For example, File:Sijan lp2.jpg doesn't have any information or source. Dabomb87 (talk) 01:57, 7 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Added source and info to Sijan photo. Anymore? RlevseTalk 02:08, 7 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
File:Ball - Version 2.jpg. Dabomb87 (talk) 02:10, 7 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Yea, that one is shaky, it has a US tag when it looks like it was a state photo, so I replaced with one of Kent Lambert that is on commons and has an OTRS ticket.RlevseTalk 02:17, 7 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Fixed with info box added. It is on an Oman Embassy web site and the Dept of State site. I used the State Dept link. RlevseTalk 10:02, 7 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
