I am nominating this for featured list because I find the subject interesting and different from most current FLs. TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 02:25, 15 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

*Comment — Perhaps there should an explanation about the word "consensus" in the Runner(s)-up columns for readers who are not familiar with sports voting process. — MT (talk) 04:27, 28 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
    • That sounds like a good idea, but the source does not explain the term. I know what it would usually mean, but based on current voting procedures, there is no such thing as a consensus winner without a runner-up. I don't know what past voting procedures were.--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 05:24, 28 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
      • Well, it didn't notice that they have different voting procedure over the years. Anyway, what about blanking the cells (or inserting dashes) to indicate that there is no runner-up in those years. — MT (talk) 04:05, 30 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

  • Is there a reason that ESPN HS and ESPN RISE are inconsistently presented, italics/not italics?
  • The lead would make more sense to me if it was in chronlogical order.
  • Many of the players have images, it's a shame this article has none.
  • "The panel includes five McDonald's All-American selection committee members." is this significant? Not to a non-expert.
    • The proper article is linked in the paragraph above. If they are unfamiliar with the McD AA then they should have clicked on the link.--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 05:43, 31 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • Link all positions or none of them in the sortable table.
  • "F - Forward" - en-dash.
  • em-dash explanations in the key, one ends with a period, the other doesn't end in a period.
  • "The following players have been named Mr. Basketball USA.[2]" not sure this is necessary, particularly given the name of the section and given the caption in the table heading.
  • It looks like you're actually using en-dash not em-dash in the school column.
  • LSU/UNLV etc, don't use abbreviations without explaining what they are.
    • The four abbreviations (UNLV, LSU, USC and UCLA) are all considered so common that the linked pages use these abbreviations rather than full names. We are using the names that people would look for.--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 05:48, 31 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
