It does not fail, as it presents the singer in full vintage attire, paying tribute to the Andrews Sisters, while also showing the special effects used to create three versions of Christina Aguilera. Alecsdaniel (talk) 15:30, 5 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
But there is no sourced critical discussion about the visual appearance of a singer in full vintage attire and there is also no sourced critical discussion about the special effects, so there is no need for a picture of those things. --Stefan2 (talk) 15:42, 5 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
But the articles discuss those facts I've mentioned: "The video is based on the 1940s World War II theme.[58] In most of the music video, she dances and sings in three different hair colors: red, blonde and brown, as if she were in a singing trio, a tribute to The Andrews Sisters.[59] ... Shooting the sequences of Aguilera as a singing trio took the longest since they had to be shot for each hair color and camera angle, which was computer-controlled for precision. Choreography was carefully arranged so that none of the versions overlapped and the takes could be spliced together. The clip's color scheme is based on Technicolor films, focusing on primary colors and bright secondary colors.[58]". The point of the image is to ilustrate those sentences, which ... it does. Alecsdaniel (talk) 23:27, 5 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
That's a textual replacement of the image, see WP:NFCC#1. --Stefan2 (talk) 22:14, 6 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Exactly, there isn't any free content to illustrate the visual impact of the music video. Alecsdaniel (talk) 21:02, 7 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
As the file has been replaced by text, it violates WP:NFCC#1, as I wrote. --Stefan2 (talk) 21:07, 7 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
And how are people supposed to know how 40s fashion, the Andrews Sisters, Christina Aguilera and Technicolor based color schemes look like based on words? 78.96.173.149 (talk) 03:18, 8 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
As there is no sourced critical discussion of those things, there is no need for non-free pictures of those things. Besides, there are probably lots of free pictures of 1940s fashion and the other things you listed. --Stefan2 (talk) 12:58, 8 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
There are links from MTV News and Slant Magazine talking about the video in the article. Alecsdaniel talk) 2:14, 9 March 2015 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 78.96.173.149 (talk)
Whether there is sourced critical discussion about the image elsewhere is irrelevant as long as there is no sourced critical discussion about the image in the article. Also note that sourced critical discussion about the film is not the same thing as sourced critical discussion about the image. --Stefan2 (talk) 23:19, 9 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I don't agree. You said it fails WP:NFCC#1 and it does not. You just seem to be making stuff up just to delete it, with the discussion of the "image" from the video. I don't agree with anything you said, so I vote keep. Alecsdaniel (talk) 06:56, 10 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
