The comment on the upload of File:Rudder.jpg says "Public domain photo of Scott Rudder used by all media outlets," but there's no evidence that it's public domain. It was then also licensed as GFDL by the uploader. I've also included File:Addiego.jpg here because, although it doesn't have the same comment, it was uploaded around the same time and has the same resolution/quality and is unlikely to be owned by the uploader.   It still contains articles written by journalists. Does the copyright of those articles belong to the publisher or to the journalists themselves?   (edit conflict)@Espd: If that's truly the case, then you clear this up by sending a WP:CONSENT email to Wikimedia OTRS for verification purposes. If possible, you should use an official business email of either yourself or the paper when you send the email. Otherwise, there's not a lot that can be done here; if this was a personal photo which had never been published anywhere else, then it might be OK to simply take you at your word. In this case, however, I think some more formal verification is going to be needed. If there was a stand-alone Wikipedia article about Western Front News, then it might be possible to convert this file's licensing to the non-free content ((Non-free newspaper image)) license for use as primary identification purposes, but I cannot find any Wikipedia article about the paper, and non-free content needs to be used in at least one article. -- Marchjuly (talk) 09:19, 3 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The image does not meet NFCC on either of the pages where it is in use. In both cases, the Lidice massacre is only briefly discussed and the image is not providing any contextual significance that cannot be discussed in the text. Also, there is the possibility of replacing with File:Bundesarchiv Bild 146-1993-020-26A, Lidice, Ort nach Zerstörung.jpg, a free use image showing destruction of the village. buidhe 17:10, 2 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I initially intended to PROD those audio samples, but then I found out they were previously tagged in 2007 with ((subst:dfu)). Those samples seem to fail WP:NFCC#8 as the article up to date mentions just names of artists covering the song "These Foolish Things (Remind Me of You)", and three would be an excessive amount of allowed samples per WP:NFC#Unacceptable use. The article content is not substantial enough to justify usage of those samples, and deleting those samples would not affect the article's conveyance of the song in question.
