Though I am completely confused as to what any of that jargon meant (and reading the pages only confused me more), I think I have done as requested? If not, you'll have to fix it as I have absolutely no idea as to what else to include there because, as I said, the terminologies on the pages just confused me. Can you please explain if your recent edits took care of the situation? My first time having to deal with this kind of issue.— Maile (talk) 15:01, 16 February 2023 (UTC)
Greetings,
I have noticed that my personal sandbox has been nominated for speedy deletion, and I wanted to reach out to you as to clear some things up. I have often messed around on my personal sandbox, I am fan of alternate history and I would often craft scenarios using infoboxs on my sandbox. I have done more than once, and I have never published them as serious articles simply because I just like to toy around with my personal sandbox. I do not understand as to why it would constitute an issue now.

Hello, Salavat,
Please review Criteria for Speedy Deletion thoroughly so you better understand the different criteria, when they apply and to which namespaces they apply. For example, all "A" criteria only apply to main space articles, not to pages in User space or Files. You are a very experienced editor so I'm surprised you are not familiar with these different criteria so please review this policy page before tagging any more pages for speedy deletion. Thank you. I added a few things to the article on the Romanian-born artist and educator. Typical Lugnuts stub that only had Olympedia as a source. I'll probably try to find other sources to destubify it soon (and I can add more from the NYT obituary). Abzeronow (talk) 17:14, 1 April 2023 (UTC)
As you created this category, I figured I'd ask directly: is there any reason you can think of why this shouldn't be a subcategory of Category:Television series based on Mario? That seems intuitive to me, but there may be factors I'm not considering? Thanks for your input! DonIago (talk) 13:32, 10 April 2023 (UTC)
Thanks for cleaning up the files I tagged for deletion!! :) --Minorax«¦talk¦» 13:09, 25 April 2023 (UTC) |

How do I add where I got them from? I used the map from the Wikimedia databases, but the maps were colored by me (and some other users) using Inkscape. This is mostly my own work, since the coloring was done by me. How do I add their copyright? Altendo 11:02, 4 November 2023 (UTC)

Hi Salavat, I`ve used the File: Czech Extraliga logo.png that you`ve uploaded to en.wikipedia for the german version of Wikipedia. But I`ve done it obvisually not correct.
Have you an advice for me, how I should do/use it correctly (concerning the copyright laws). As you probably remarked I`m totaly new in uploading pictures..;-) Baernergieu (talk) 05:23, 14 November 2023 (UTC)
I'm making a lot of pages, mainly on Lego, but I wanted to know how you uploaded cover art without it getting deleted or taken down. I'm using the upload wizard but all the pictures I upload get taken down in a day. I know you uploaded the cover art for Lego Battles: Ninjago so help me out here please. | image = Lego Ninjago - Nindroids cover.pngSalavat (talk) 00:16, 12 December 2023 (UTC)
@MKsLifeInANutshell: No worries, it's pretty simple.
1. Upload the image and insert this into the files summary section of the Upload screen:
((Non-free use rationale video game cover | Article = | Use = Infobox | Name = [[]] | Owner = [[]] | Source = )) ==Licensing== ((non-free video game cover|image has rationale=yes|))
2. Add the uploaded files name into the infobox under the image parameter. It should look like this (change the images name where applicable). You already have the image parameter in the Adidas miCoach infobox so you just need to add the file name into the article, for example "Lego Ninjago - Nindroids cover.png":
| image = Lego Ninjago - Nindroids cover.png
Hope this helps and if in doubt, check to see where and how I added the text and template in at the image and article space for Lego Ninjago: Nindroids. Salavat (talk) 14:56, 19 December 2023 (UTC)

Hey @Salavat! This is to thank you for helping me learn how to upload images to Wikipedia. Even though it seems pretty simple now, it took me a month to learn even with your teaching. Thank you! MKsLifeInANutshell (talk) 15:42, 25 January 2024 (UTC) |

Hello,
Please note that the Iona University logo uploaded in July 2022 has a white border around the Celtic Cross. This is not proper useage of our logo. I've uploaded an updated version without the white border but please let me know if there are any issues.
