WP:DECORATIVE use of a non-free logo in Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology#Computer Systems Lab which fails WP:NFCC#8. There is a different non-free logo (File:Tjlogo.png) being used in the main infobox of the article for primary identification purposes which means that this "secondary" logo is not need " to identify the brand Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology" as is claimed in the "Purpose" field of the file's non-free use rationale; so, the file's non-free use needs to be assessed in accordance with WP:NFC#CS. The school's computer systems lab doesn't appear to Wikipedia notable in it's own right; so, I non-free logo isn't really needed simply for identification purposes. Moreover, the logo itself isn't the subject of any sourced critical commentary anywhere in the article; so, there's really n strong contextual connection between logo and article content to the extent that the inclusion of the logo significantly improves the reader's understanding of the article content to the degree that the omission of the logo would be detrimental to the reader's understanding of such content. I can't really see anyway to justify this file's non-free use absent of adding sourced critical commentary about the logo itself to the article. If that can be done, then fine; however, the file should be deleted otherwise. -- Marchjuly (talk) 23:44, 28 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Xircon does not appear to be free software. It's my understanding that "fair use" screenshots are not allowed in user space. Ixfd64 (talk) 00:55, 21 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

File:Folder Hexagonal Icon.svg (delete | talk | history | links | logs) – uploaded by Mifter (notify | contribs | uploads | upload log).

This file has been listed as one of the most-used files on EN wiki. Mainly due to its inclusion in Template:Class/icon and Template:Icon. However it was removed from these templates in February 2021, leaving only 31 direct links of the file with none of those pages having large transclusion counts. Link counters still state that there are over 500k links, however this is wrong. Due to the limited number of actual uses of the file there is no longer a need for the local file and should be deleted (There is already a commons file).
