• Delete for pretty much the same reasons given in Wikipedia:Files for discussion/2023 June 9#File:Darin and Sheila Damude.jpg. There's nothing in c:COM:Singapore to indicate that this is PD to support the uploader's claim; moreover, the most likely country of first publication is probably South Africa given that's where the subject of the photo is from, and there's nothing in c:COM:South Africa to indicate this photo is PD. Thus, treating the file as non-free content seems to be the prudent thing to do, which means its usage is subject to WP:NFCC. There's no sourced critical commentary about this particular photo per se in the article where it's coutry being used and there's no sourced critical commentary to indicate the subject's appearance had anything to do with why he was murdered. There is nothing to back up the 1921 dating of this image, and since Leslie apparently played from 1921-34, it may well be young enough to be copyrighted in the US, regardless of the issue of anonymous publication that would be required for lapsed UK copyright.
