Portal:Nortel[edit]
This portal has been unmaintained for months, with the only significant edits being the insertion of blatant spam—which actually seems to be the entire purpose of this portal in the first place. Whatever non-promotional content here appears just as relevant in Portal:Telecommunication, so this portal is sort of a duplicate. The first MfD was thinly-commented on except by the portal's creator and two low-activity, single-purpose accounts. The sole argument from an established editor was to give time to flesh the portal out; however, more than three quarters have passed without any substantial cleanup. It is about time that this canned meat gets removed from the shelves. Pegasus «C¦T» 11:13, 20 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete - The standards against which a portal may be reviewed is at Wikipedia:Portal guidelines. This portal does not evidence enough interest in the portal to sustain the continuing need to update portal content. This portal is not associated with a WikiProject, making it less likely that a supply of new material will continually be generated for this portal. I think it is time to punch their ticket. -- Suntag ☼ 13:53, 23 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
