The result of the discussion was redirect to Saginaw Spirit. Ricky81682 (talk) 19:55, 15 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
- User:Aaronjbaylis/List of Saginaw Spirit records (edit | talk | history | links | watch | logs)
Stale draft that does not deliver on title and adds nothing not covered by Saginaw_Spirit so no value in merging or redirecting. Legacypac (talk) 03:02, 28 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
- I gave an articulated valid reason. Read it again. Legacypac (talk) 17:53, 28 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
- Doesn't deliver? Looks to me like it is unfinished. Adds nothing to the current mainspace article? Good, nothing to merge. Redirect, so that when the user returns, he will be taken to the mainspace article. He may then even work on it. No reason to delete anything. --SmokeyJoe (talk) 09:06, 29 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
- The draft is neither a list or talks about records. There is no place to redirect to that covers the topic. Legacypac (talk) 09:46, 29 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
- Then replace with ((Inactive userpage blanked)). --SmokeyJoe (talk) 12:04, 29 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
- which is a form of deleting without discussion. Legacypac (talk) 19:30, 1 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
- I do not think it is nearly enough of a problem to justify deletion. Keeping the page in his userspace is well within user perogative. --SmokeyJoe (talk) 21:23, 1 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete as unlikely needed. SwisterTwister talk 05:43, 5 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
- Redirect to mainspace article. This is the standard way to deal with a duplication in userspace. The "delete" votes are misguided and contrary to Wikipedia policy. A person's userspace subpage should never be deleted (rather than redirected) merely because it is "stale." Please read the instructions at the top of the "Miscellany for deletion" page (the page you are looking at now): "Note that we do not delete user subpages merely to "clean up" userspace. Please only nominate pages that are problematic under our guidelines." And under WP:STALE, stale drafts should only be deleted if "problematic even if blanked" -- which nobody has suggested to be true. I understand that some editors may disagree with current practice and want to use deletion to "clean up" other people's userpages. If you disagree with current policy, please propose a change to the rules and seek consensus first instead of nominating huge batches of pages in a way that contradicts Wikipedia policy.
