Delete. I'm not sure why the previous MFD got it so wrong, but this is needlessly inflammatory and uses a made-up fantasy flag. It's absolutely a conspiracy theory, the only people talking about Eurabia are its self-proclaimed opponents, not alleged supporters. If not deleted, then at bare minimum, the userbox could be moved to something like Anti-Islamism and given a neutral icon. (I don't want to commit a BEANS violation and give people ideas by offering specific examples, but there are lots of made-up threats that are very easy to be against because nobody relevant is for them. Allowing userboxes based on them reinforces the idea that nefarious forces really are trying to push for (INSERT WILD CONSPIRACY THEORY HERE). Yes, if the template was moved to anti-Islamism and given a different icon, I'd be less in favor of deletion. But the faux flag & "Eurabia" title are right out. As for how insidious it is - I dunno, I think the article makes it pretty clear? For me, the biggest aspect is that everyone talking about Eurabia are not Muslims discussing their master plan to Islamicize Europe, but rather non-Muslims worried about European demographic decline or some such. That's their prerogative, but making up stuff about the New European Caliphate Boogeyman Out To Get Them isn't something they're allowed to do, at least in respectable fact-based publications. As a general policy matter, you should only have a serious anti-XYZ infobox exist if there are genuine advocates of XYZ, not if XYZ is some imagined scenario. I hate to be the one making a Godwin violation and playing the Hitler card, but imagine if someone had an infobox opposing the plan by Jewish bankers to take over Europe, and responded to criticism by saying that lots of people have concerns about the financial lobby's influence in politics. The fact that such a plan does not exist is kind of important, no? Or maybe for a less heated example, somebody being against the CERN supercollider being used to create a black hole, or Google releasing grey goo nanobots that dissolve California. It inherently suggests that these entities are actually trying to do that, or at least that it's a real risk. But it's not. SnowFire (talk) 04:52, 26 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Delete there's nothing wrong with the text of the userbox but the title and icon make it clear that it's referencing Eurabia, widely considered an Islamophobic conspiracy theory, breaching the "inflammatory or substantially divisive" part of WP:UBCR. Delete The userbox's creator claims (above) that it was specifically formulated to avoid white-supremacy vibes, yet the title and icon say otherwise (as Hut 8.5 points out above). If the userbox was so well intentioned, then why the deliberate effort (by the creator's own admission) to carefully sidestep disallowed issues (yet failing to fully do so, given the title and icon)?
