Implausible redirect. CycloneYoris talk! 21:41, 5 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

  • @Hzh: Urban Dictionary has a ton of entries, most of them are not even listed here on Wikipedia. CycloneYoris talk! 07:23, 7 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
It's not about whether it's listed in Urban Dictionary or not, but whether it is a implausible search item (therefore implausible redirect) or not. It appears to be something that has been used before (its entry in Urban Dictionary is an indication of that), therefore it cannot be implausible. Hzh (talk) 09:24, 7 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • @Hzh: You're the one that brought up the fact that it's listed in Urban Dictionary. By the way, since when is Urban Dictionary a reliable source? User-generated sites are not considered reliable sources in my opinion, and per Wikipedia also, see: WP:UGC. CycloneYoris talk! 00:52, 8 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
You are missing the point entirely. Your rationale is that it is an implausible redirect, the fact that such a word has been used before indicates that it is not implausible. Whether it is given in Urban Dictionary or elsewhere is irrelevant, as is whether they are reliable sources or not. Just a little search and you'd see it used elsewhere - [2], and apparently used in South Park - [3]. The word is mentioned in these articles - Canada on Strike and What What (In the Butt), therefore you can wikilink the word there it becomes straight away a valid redirect. More of a housekeeping thing - someone sensibly combined Molecular magnet and Molecular magnets, which redirected to different articles, into one disamb under the former name. I don't believe this plural version is needed? -- Elmidae (talk · contribs) 19:36, 5 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

  • @Bkonrad: Standard if it redirects to an article, but this redirects to a disambiguation page. RockMagnetist(talk) 01:21, 7 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oops - I was looking at the purposes of redirects, not the reasons for deletion! I have changed my vote accordingly. RockMagnetist(talk) 02:06, 7 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Delete. The former was apparently created as a newbie test but the use of an elipsis makes it pretty much useless as a redirect. The latter is just a bot created duplicate. PC78 (talk) 11:04, 5 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

One of many implausible redirects to the Linkin Park Wikipedia article. Goveganplease (talk) 02:09, 20 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Delete. Combination of missing brackets and other typos (missing space, capitalisation, spelling, colon, etc.) make these rather implausable and highly unlikely search terms. PC78 (talk) 01:09, 5 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
