Questions for the candidate[edit]

Dear candidate, thank you for offering to serve Wikipedia as an administrator. It is recommended that you answer these optional questions to provide guidance for participants:

1. What admin work do you intend to take part in?
A: making wikipedia an anti vandalise, and an anti depresion which leads to vandalism.
2. What are your best contributions to Wikipedia, and why?
A: Large brown mantis and crypsis, well crypsis was only a pic i added. large brown mantis is my best contribution because it is my largest page yet and has met wikipedia's Quality standards.
3. Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or have other users caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?
A:User:J Milburn (admin) has caused me stress but him and i really built a bridge and got over it, know he is a good friend to me on wikipedia.

    Discussion[edit]

As it is a self nom by the user it looks like it is up to him to add to the RfA list. That's my interpretation after a (very) quick look at WP:RFA/N Nk.sheridan   Talk 00:18, 25 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
    • I think the user wanted it to be transcluded, but he didn't know how. Note his recent messages. Enigma message 07:26, 25 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
    Support[edit]
    Oppose[edit]
    1. Oppose only 400 edits. ElectricalExperiment 22:16, 24 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
    2. Oppose - User doesn't seem familiar with key policies and guidelines (based on User_talk:Bjaco18). Ben has made under 500 edits and has less than two months active involvement in the project (Wannabe Kate Tool for username=Bjaco18). No involvement in XfD, CSD, vandalism reversion, etc.. I don't see why he requires the admin tools and I think there is a maturity issue with users aged under 13yrs (or even 16yrs IMO) Nk.sheridan   Talk 23:53, 24 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
      1. I'll second the rest of the concerns. But, age? That can't be an issue here. Wikipedia already has phenomenal youngsters, and if I remember correctly, as admins too. Aditya(talkcontribs) 02:04, 25 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
    3. Oppose with moral support. The one thing I really liked on a review of your edits was the box on your talk page with your username and the word "Editor" boldly sat underneath it. I'd like to recommend that you continue to wear that badge of honour with pride Bjaco18. To be an editor on this work is something to be very proud of. Any other "title" realtes to technical functions and is far less important than actually editing this project. Best of luck, and I look forward to collaborating with you in the future. 4. Oppose. You say on your user page that This user seeks adoption by an experienced editor. Anyone who has sought adoption in the previous few months shouldn't be an administrator. Not that there's anything wrong with seeking adoption, but we're talking about two entirely different levels of experience and confidence. Happy editing! -- Hoary (talk) 07:07, 25 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
