Supporting evidence: These are all the accounts and IPs currently listed in WP:Suspected sock puppets/Emetman. Once this case quiets down (if it ever does) it might be possible to block any remaining puppets under WP:DUCK. Supporting evidence: Suspected use of single-purpose sockpuppets to avoid scrutiny of conflict-of-interest contributions. Accounts' edits almost exclusively involve the subject 5W Public Relations. If confirmed as same user, there are violations of Wikipedia:Three-revert rule#Not an entitlement and Wikipedia:Edit war on that article as well. - Adding User:Judae1 Please look into this account as well, as this could be the puppet master for all the accounts listed here. While this account has not edited the articles in concern in months, he initiated the 5W Public Relations and Ronn Torossian articles, and the accounts below have restored promotional sounding edits that Judae1 originally inserted. More damning is the user talk page message left by 65.16.36.2 listed above, which accuses me of "trailing" Juade1, when I haven't interacted with, or edited the same article in 2 years. --Mosmof (talk) 15:10, 5 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
  - Adding 12.103.203.218 and 207.237.137.37. I suspect both IPs are connected to the user or, at the very least, it's Emetman logging out to edit. 12.103.203.218 popped up this morning on the 5W Public Relations after 207.237.137.37 (confirmed in last checkuser) was temporarily blocked for incivility towards Mosmof. After reverting 12's edits, I requested the page be protected to stop the madness for at least a day or two. Unsurprisingly, Emetman showed up after the page was protected to add and/or remove the exact same info with similar rationales and (crappy) sources. As stated above, these IPs and users seem to edit articles exclusively pertaining to 5WPR, have no problem with breaking 3RR, and have a huge COI.     - Adding User:JFseekingtruth - Another editor deleting relevant names from 5W Public Relations. Contribution history shows editing in mostly Joe Francis, a 5W client, and involved in content dispute over NPOV edits. Note that what has happened here is that since the last check, Emetman now edits exclusively from his home IP address, while the other accounts all edit exclusively from a business office in the same city. Based on shared article contributions, they are either the same person or they are working together. There are a few other editors at the same workplace who do not have overlapping contributions so I have declined to name them for now, they might be innocent bystanders. I believe you will find many of the shared edits relate to 5W Public Relations, it's founders or its clients. COI editing is not banned automatically, but it is cautioned against because it can lead to other behavioral problems, as is apprently the case here. Thatcher 01:58, 9 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

With all due respect, it does not make me guilty of any COI edits, nor does it invalidate my two years of Wikipedia edits and creation many pages. Robert Ulrich is not a COI, it's just an article with light or insufficient information. If there is a different opinion out there, I'd like to hear it. In creating or enhancing pages, it behooves to have links. As Ulrich is a board member of the church mentioned, it seemed like a good idea. Okay, I have blocked Judae1 for 48 hours. I am thinking that a indef block of this specific account (knowing that it is the same editor as the others listed above) is a bit harsh and does not acknowledge all the great work he has done.
