All 6 accounts above display a focused, targeted editing of only a handful of accounts articles. Articles most often edited are Martin Luther and Book of Concord. Concordia Publishing House and Johann Sebastian Bach are also frequented. The user name "Justas Jonas" is likely a reference to Justus Jonas. A common theme amongst these articles is they're all related to Lutheranism.
The activity of the Justas Jonas account bears very strong resemblance to the indefinitely banned account of Ptmccain. For instance, Justas Jonas in this one [1], and Ptmccain in this one [2]. The former is the article for Book of Concord; the latter is the talk page for the Book of Concord.
All 6 accounts display a similar (the same?) style of writing (especially on talk pages and in edit summaries) and a similar approach to contentious collaborative work. Examples include
If indeed Justas Jonas is the return of Ptmccain, then Wikipedia's indefinite ban on a user has lapsed without notice, justification or explanation that I have been able to find.
Ptmccain is all over the internet (try a Google search) and all over Wikipedia; you can find photographs and telephone numbers. Though it takes time, analyzing Ptmccain's Google hits against those of the other 5 users, including looking at the times of the posts, suggests a single user, a single POV.
Thanks for your efforts and consideration. Please let me know if you need more information.

Declined. Unfortunately, we don't have records for Ptmccain, so there is no way to check if this is him. Essjay (Talk) 05:32, 17 January 2007 (UTC)
FYI, there is a new article name/article movement war regarding Book of Concord. One of the parties involved in this is Justas Jonas, who wants to move the article to Book of Concord - The Lutheran Confessions. Concordia: The Lutheran Confessions is the title of a book displayed in the article Book of Concord. The primary editor of the book displayed is Paul T. McCain. Per statistics at Amazon.com, this particular edition of the book is at a sales rank of about 1,0555,477 and is un-reviewed by Amazon readers. (There is another edition covering this material by someone else that has 9 reviews by Amazon readers, with an overall rating of about 4.5 and sales rank of about 28,024.) Please closely evaluate whether you find a connection between User:Justas Jonas, User:Ptmccain, editor Paul T. McCain and 2006-2007 edits at the Martin Luther and Book of Concord articles on Wikipedia. Keesiewonder talk 13:24, 20 January 2007 (UTC)
Likely. I'm familiar with Ptmccain, and based on Johann Friedrich's edits there is no doubt it is Ptmccain. Not only does Justas Jonas share the same characteristic editing patterns, "voice", and interests, but based on the IP evidence, it is also likely that Justas Jonas is Johann Friedrich. Note: I agree; I'm not seeing any editing from the mentioned 24.107 range, but Johann and Justas are definately the same user. Essjay (Talk) 05:18, 21 January 2007 (UTC)
