User:Arshad Roshan.a.a is already a confirmed and blocked sockpuppet of User:Mooni singh raizada. User:Varsha Deshayi appeared today and has been reposting copyvios contributed by the previous two accounts in the following articles:
Like User:Arshad Roshan.a.a, User:Varsha Deshayi has the strange habit of redirecting articles to themselves. Psychonaut (talk) 11:25, 14 March 2014 (UTC)

This new account was created right after the last one was blocked. It's trying to recreate the blocked accounts' deleted articles [1] [2] [3] and restore the blocked accounts' deleted contributions to existing articles (compare [4] with [5], and [6] with [7]). The corresponding Commons accounts show a similar pattern of copyvios (same images, same articles, etc.). Psychonaut (talk) 15:01, 18 March 2014 (UTC)

The previous socks repeatedly (re)created Chandanamazha, under various titles, using copyright-infringing text and images. The User:Viren Vadhera account is doing exactly the same thing. The IP account is the only other substantial contributor to this freshly recreated article, and is removing deletion tags from it in the same manner as the previous socks did. —Psychonaut (talk) 13:17, 31 March 2014 (UTC)

Arshad IN, just registered, has the identical userpage to ASR Roshan. Anna Frodesiak (talk) 19:17, 14 April 2014 (UTC)
I'm adding User:Arshad XX and User:Arhaan Roshan. The first of these has the same user boxes and info boxes on its user and talk pages, and is making the same requests to seemingly random editors for its user page to be protected. The second is already blocked as a sock but hasn't yet been reported here. —Psychonaut (talk) 10:17, 17 April 2014 (UTC)

Administrator note Checking the editing history, including deleted edits, I found evidence which would not have been much clearer if ASR Roshan had announced " I am a sockpuppet of Arshad Roshan.a.a". Both accounts blocked and tagged. However, a CheckUser for sleepers etc would be welcome in view of the history of sockpuppets, including the fact that the account Arshad IN was created shortly after ASR Roshan had been informed of suspicion of sockpuppetry, and did no editing except cloning the user page. In conjunction with the editing history of the editor's other accounts, this looks very much like preparing a sleeper for when the inevitable block on came. The editor who uses the pseudonym "JamesBWatson" (talk) 10:52, 15 April 2014 (UTC)
Created a hoax article about himself (Arshaad Roshan) which matches the biographical information on his former user pages (born 25 November 1999, from Kerala, etc.): compare [9] with [10]. As usual he has plastered the page with fake awards, though in this case they're real Indian media awards rather than Wikipedia barnstars and the like. Further evidence is probably available in the deleted page histories of Arshad Roshan and Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Arshad Roshan, which I suspect are previous incarnations of this same page. (I can't check myself as I'm not an administrator.) Requesting CU as this sockpuppeteer has previously created sleeper accounts. Psychonaut (talk) 10:40, 20 May 2014 (UTC)

This fresh account's first and only edit has been to recreate Arshad's favourite article, Chandanamazha, fully formed, just a couple days after it was deleted for the fifth time. Psychonaut (talk) 08:19, 30 May 2015 (UTC)
Just squeezing in DUCK Arshu's 25 for the record. Recreated 4 articles, all deleted by me just now. Blocked by me. Anna Frodesiak (talk) 18:27, 30 May 2015 (UTC)

I believe this is yet another sock of Arshad for the following reasons:

This is a new account which has immediately set about recreating Ashad's articles on Malayalam TV, including Priyanshu Jora, Sonia Balani, and Asianet Television Awards. Just like Arshad, he claims on his user page to be an Indian living in Saudi Arabia.

This fresh account has recreated Arshad's article Karutha Muthu (which had already been deleted three times) and is editing all the usual pages Arshad is normally seen at (4 The People (Television series), List of programs broadcast by Asianet, Template:Asianet Shows, etc.). The account is another SPA for AsiaNet-related articles, recreating Arshad's deleted articles under slightly different titles (e.g. Pranayam (TV Series) vs. Pranayam (TV series)). An administrator should probably compare the content of the deleted articles against the current ones.
The IP was used to edit the same articles immediately before or after the registered account. (This is particularly telling with Pranayam (TV Series), which the IP edited only a few minutes after the account created the article.) Psychonaut (talk) 19:41, 11 October 2015 (UTC)

This is a new account which is precociously creating fully-formed articles on Indian TV. What makes me suspicious is that it's recreated one of Arshad's favourite articles using one of his alternative titles, Pranayam (TV Series). However, this evidence alone is not conclusive. For confirmation it would help if an administrator could compare the deleted versions (at Pranayam (TV Series) and Pranayam (TV series) to the current one. (That, or a CheckUser.) Googly 215 is a new account whose only edit has been to recreate Arshad's deleted article, Pranayam (Television series). Blonde Bond, another new account, "discovered" it a mere 28 minutes later and has continued to edit it since then. Like the previous sockpuppets, Blonde Bond has an exclusive interest in Malayalam TV and engages in unattributed copying from other sources (e.g., [15]). The registered account's only edit has been to recreate one of Arshad's deleted articles, Sthreedhanam (TV series) (formerly at [16]). The IP, which geolocates to Arshad's country of residence, almost immediately "discovered" the new article and began editing it. The IP account is also focused exclusively on Malayalam TV, including Arshad's favourite articles (4 the People (TV series), Asianet, etc.) Psychonaut (talk) 12:55, 20 November 2015 (UTC)

Restored Arshad's copyright-infringing contributions to Idea D4 Dance (cf. [17] and [18]). IP geolocates to Arshad's self-disclosed city of residence. Psychonaut (talk) 13:59, 17 December 2015 (UTC)

The Indian Wisher is a new SPA creating fully-formed articles on Malayalam TV. The two IPs, which geolocate to Arshad's city of residence, edit the new articles (or their talk pages, or their AfD pages) soon after The Indian Wisher creates them. Psychonaut (talk) 14:59, 23 December 2015 (UTC)

Recreated salted Ponnambili as Ponnambili(TV Series). Similar habit of re-adding large chunks of copyvio to articles: see edit history of Mallam, Nellore District. I can't submit diffs as they've been revdel'd. Editor even tried to remove the revdel template: [19] The Mighty Glen (talk) 15:27, 11 May 2018 (UTC)

Recreating Parasparam (TV series) as Parasparam(TV series) to evade salt, overlap here. There is also significant overlap with two other masters, so this may also be meat. See Seokochin etc... Praxidicae (talk) 13:06, 23 February 2019 (UTC)
