Suspected sockpuppets
[edit]All redlinked accounts associated with Adyen and Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Adyen, after the deletion process started.
Elokammanoharam and Jillyjab both have identical !votes except for the signature on the AfD: [1] [2]
Jessdujour2 and Jeroedelange both edit the article in an attempt to save it from AfD and call it "our": [3] [4]
As is the case with most corporate COI AfDs, there is a strong possibility of MEAT as compared to direct socking here, but I am asking for CU to check in case there are any other sleepers out there. It is also possible that the this is two groups of users trying to save the same article: one corporate, and the other contractors. TonyBallioni (talk) 17:39, 6 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

- There are webhosts involved here, but Jillyjab, Jessdujour2, and Jerodelange are Possilikely (a mix between possible and likely) to each other.
- Elokammanoharam is unrelated to this group but is Likely to Bettersmiley (talk+ · tag · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · spi block · block log · CA · CheckUser(log) · investigate · cuwiki). Katietalk 13:55, 7 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
- Awaiting administrative action - Given the behavioural evidence, I'm inclined to agree that this is agree that this is meatpuppetry for the purpose of !vote stacking. Please block all of these accounts indefinitely. Could I also get an admin clerk to merge this case and Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Farmergold into Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Bettersmiley. Sir Sputnik (talk) 23:18, 28 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
- Administrator note @Sir Sputnik: Done. Remaining accounts Blocked without tags. GABgab 17:35, 3 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
- @GeneralizationsAreBad: Bettersmiley is the master account here. Unless I'm missing something Farmergold does not appear to have engaged in sockpuppetry. They were listed as the master in the last report as oldest of the accounts involved, but that investigation was closed with no action taken. I just figured that keeping that investigation in the same archive as the current one made sense since both involved Bettersmiley. Sir Sputnik (talk) 17:49, 3 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
- Administrator note @Sir Sputnik: Right. Thing is, Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Bettersmiley just redirects to this one. GABgab 17:51, 3 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
- @GeneralizationsAreBad: What happened there, is that the three accounts were reported at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Bettersmiley, but the investigation was then moved because Farmergold was the oldest of the reported accounts. That investigation found no link between those three accounts. Keeping the investigation under the current title implies that Jillyjab and co are linked to Farmergold, which hasn't been proven and probably isn't the true. - Administrator note @Sir Sputnik: I moved the case again. GABgab 18:03, 3 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
