  • In fact, let me name the others I suspect, along with why I think they are socks/meats of Dao:
  • TheWikiEditor2000. On his user page he names 3 articles that he created: Nick Brewer, Yung Gleesh, and Trey Smith. This account is one that was involved with the same article on Simple, now deleted, which is why I started following him here. Of some circumstantial evidence, note the 2000 in the name compared with Dao2k (Dao was born in 2000 by his own admission), and that the account created Aug 6, 3 days after last Dao sock was blocked.
  • Yung Mana: This is the account that actually did start the Trey Smith article, which WikiEditor2000 edited a lot after this accounts initial start edits.[8]
  • TheWikiEditoradvanced: Variant name on WikiEditor2000, much overlap between these accounts, see the overlap detector's hourly report above. Created a new Redirect to Yung Gleesh, as well as an article about a single he recorded. This one may be a meat/friend.
  • And since both compare tools are broken, a quick look at the 3 accounts' short history will show the overlap: [9], [10], [11].
  • TheCuhaswon23: This one gets more complex / "gut feeling". In past interactions with Dao, I've tried to get him to realize why his articles keep getting deleted, and explained how the notability criteria work. Shortly after the Nick Brewer article is created by WikiEd2000, this account leaves me a message ([12]) asking me if the article is suitable notability-wise. I have zero contributions that I know of in the area of hip-hop artists, so why a brand new account would find me and ask my opinion on a new article's notability, just set my radar off. I even left him a cryptic response, "tread lightly, both of you", which was not questioned as I would have expected if that didn't mean something to him. As I say, very gut-feel evidence, but having dealt with this Sock a great deal, it seems to fit. CrowCaw 22:30, 17 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

These two accounts have been involved in writing the biography of rapper Yung Gleesh, which was deleted a few days ago by Bbb23 because it had been created by TheWikiEditor2000, a confirmed sock of Dao2k. Two months ago, Ganghess started a draft of Yung Gleesh.[13] Today, TheExtremeRapPageCreator recreated the biography of Yung Gleesh.[14] Both TheWikiEditor2000 and TheExtremeRapPageCreator created user pages listing their creations.[15][16] I don't have any more evidence on Ganghess because I can see only one edit.   • There are a couple of other editors, all created since the last sock block, who are exclusively editing in the same areas as the last farm, Bugzy Malone, Chip (rapper), Blood Raw, etc. Easily dismissable as coincidence, so I won't name them here, but I do concur with the sleeper check based on history.   • Note editing patterns, typical of Dao's use of multiple accounts:
  • TSE edited today from 1540 GMT to 1546, then stopped. [23]
  • DB1 created today at 1551, edited from 1604 GMT to 1608, at 1604 created the Benny Banks article. [24]
  • TSE resumed editing 1616. At 1630, TSE then wikilinks the now created Banks article: [25]

Created article on an American rapper, Lil Tushin, who list as Associated Acts, one Yung Trace. One of the references is a filtered Twitter feed including replies from Yung Trace. IP that is editing following creation geolocates to same location and ISP as Dao. Similar method creating, shall we say, ancillary pages (BEANS, email me if these are required as we know Dao watches this page). Compare to recently deleted and you'll see what I mean, or email me if not.

  • The pattern here completely fits Dao's M.O. I'll be glad to elaborate via email since the sock has been pointed here (beans, you know). It is a pity that he didn't take the Standard Offer when it was offered and spent his time building these articles over at SimpleWiki. He'd now be a few weeks away from applying for an unblock with the SimpleWiki contributions as evidence of good article work. He still doesn't get that nothing from him will be accepted until then, regardless of how well he writes it. Pity, as he could be a good contributor but for that. I know technical evidence will be stale but the IPs appear to be in the same range as past blocked IPs with a focus on Draft: Yungen/Draft:Yungen (rapper) etc...which is a favorite of this master as well as the named account which has been recreating this content for years. This looks pretty ducky to me. I'm filing this as they've resubmitted the draft in an attempt to evade the protection as well.
