In this AfD, the above suspicious looking accounts appeared, as red as an impossible blush, and, having made no previous appearances in editing, proceeded to feverishly support the opinions of the suspected sockmaster using identical language and arguments. Looks like the Bryn Curt James Hammond promoters have been doing their thing for some time. I'm pretty certain that the three accounts belong to the Miami Fox group; Hammerhard18 is one that was active only six weeks ago and sounded very much like LisaHadley2018. --bonadea contributions talk 20:44, 29 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I think the behavioral evidence against all accounts named (including Snakebite 1965 and Mindgap99) is very strong. Who puts red links and links to disambiugition pages in their contributions at AfD? wikitigresito (talk) 09:30, 30 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Agree. All the users (sic) mentioned in this investigation deploy the exact same format in their texts: Red links; wikilinks to generic articles (e.g. they want to link to the deletion policy and they link to the disambiguation page for "Deletion"); persistent invocation of third-party "authorities," typically ABC; complaints that the proposal to delete is a "personal attack" and the objections to the Keep opinions constitute "harassment"; use of over-elaborate language, full of malapropisms; references to random Wikipedia policies (e.g. they accuse other editors of "violating WP:GNG"); and so on and so forth. New account almost immediately zooming in on Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/A Case for Murder: Brittany Murphy Files. Some of the tell-tale signs from previous socks are absent (perhaps because they were alerted to them), but the writing style is unmistakeable. This is written in the same style as used by other recent socks. Furthermore, the user self-identifies as Bryn Hammond, the name of the CEO of Miami Fox Publishing, which is the original user name of Hammerhard18 (whose only edits were to promote Bryn Hammond). I was fooled for a second by the user using the talk page which previous socks haven't done, but of course the AfD discussion page is semi-protected after all the socking. bonadea contributions talk 16:04, 2 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
