Users have similar edit interests in fixing pipelinks against WP:NOTBROKEN standards. @Only: thanks, I was just making the same report...

I saw similar edits 40 minutes apart in the same article by Myspersson: [1] then Kung Hibbe: [2], both "fixing" links to redirects. Both accounts also needlessly capitalize existing piped links. I left warnings for each, and since Kung Hibbe had already ignored numerous warnings, they were blocked. Compare their unblock request: [3] to Myspersson's response: [4].

Both users have been doing the same thing on both Swedish Wikipedia, where they were both created, and Dutch Wikipedia, and have received numerous complaints about it, going back years. Compare this comment [5]:

Maybe there are readers who find it annoying when they follow a link and it says they were redirected. I find it annoying myself and try to make it easier for those readers. Same fascination with breaking WP:NOTBROKEN, compare confirmed sock Guntheriana with Microphylla and Coloradensis. Focus on sports with the odd foray into philosophy'ish topics – eerily reminiscent of another blocked-yet-keeps-returning user from the same habitat, but that's for another day. There has also been tons of IP block evasion, but CUs don't want to hear, let alone speak, of those. Showed up making the same WP:NOTBROKEN type edit on World War II as recently blocked sock Choirorhynchos (talk · contribs) had recently done on the article seen here and here, based on editing interests seems to be Swedish like the sockmaster as well. This is a new account but I've got a strong feeling this is the same person, and checkuser can help confirm and see if there are other accounts. No, no contention; am happy that it is a miscapitalisation. Was thrown by there being the odd neutral and very occasional positive edit among our subject editor's fixing obsession. Two alterations to redirects at the same article within a few hours sounded an alarm. Likewise, no consideration given to Scotland being Nordic or otherwise.   1. At least one diff is from the sockmaster (or an account already blocked as a confirmed sockpuppet of the sockmaster), showing the behaviour characteristic of the sockmaster.
  2. At least one diff per suspected sockpuppet, showing the suspected sockpuppet emulating the behaviour of the sockmaster given in the first diff.
  3. In situations where it is not immediately obvious from the diffs what the characteristic behaviour is, a short explanation must be provided. Around one sentence is enough for this.

I'm not overly familiar with this sock-master, but they seem to be exhibiting the same "fixing" of WP:NOTBROKEN links detailed at previous cases, in particular at Fall of communism in Poland there is this change which is the same as previous socks Александр Шёстрём and Bellula.
