This IP removed the speedy deletion template from The Athlone Group and gave almost the exact same all capitalized reason for removing the template that User:Marcelhudson used when creating the page. Swimnteach (talk) 17:21, 26 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

 Administrator note Pretty clear case. Persistent recreaton of the same article, and persistent removal of deletion templates, both logged in and logged out. Combine it with comments such as this one, and you have a case where a block is clearly warranted. Indef blocked the user account, 48H block on the IP. The style of writing seems similar to that of Marcel Brandon/Hudson and is an SPA trying to argue against an AFD. I'm aware this was shut down before, but both have had a strong focus on the Athlone Group related articles (ie, the Athlone Group in its various forms, and Jojar S Dhinsa), and both have curiously similar names. This might sound like a poor argument, and if so, I'm sorry, as I don't have access to more information on the articles that have been worked on by both accounts and deleted, and wasn't aware of this user at the time of the original SPI, but I believe both users may have edited the now-deleted article "Mixudo" in some form or another. "Athlone Group of Companies" was originally proposed by the IP blocked as a sock of Marcelhudson, with that title (although the article was in a substantially different form when released to mainspace.) • In response to Rschen, yes - the fact that the Athlone Group (now deleted) was created as an extensively modified version of the IP blocked as a sock of Marcelhudson, with an identical name.[1] (IP's AFC) (I can't provide diffs for the date of the Athlone Group of Company's creation by MarcelBrandon, as that's now been deleted; should've included em before, oops). As you said yourself, it was closed down because there was no connection. My additions have been fair, and genuine, and frankly do not understand reluctance to see the positive attributes, and notability of a group of high profile people that support a large number of suffering people.
