Sprang up shortly after I had the AfD reopened due to socking. This account explicitly claims to be Cerrito, which, looking through the archive, I think is a first. At SPI we aren't in the business of tying people to real-world identities, and I suppose we must be open to the possibility that this is Cerrito but "MikePlant1" is just some admirer, but given that the last blocked sock (Summerlee) claimed to have real-life ties to Cerrito, and given the unusual familiarity for a new account with how Wikipedia works (not just !voting at the AfD, but contacting the reopening admin [1] and relisting user [2]), I think a check comparing them to Summerlee is merited. -- Tamzin^{[cetacean needed]} (she/they) 19:29, 15 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
