    • This is because the template incorrectly used ((Barnstar documentation)); it seems like the template creator did not understand WP guidelines.   • @Jason Rees and Yellow Evan: if you are using it only one article (List of wettest tropical cyclones by country) why do you need it in a separate template? the other table in that section (Swan Island) is in the article directly and not in a separate template.       • from Wikipedia:TG, Templates should not normally be used to store article text, as this makes it more difficult to edit the content. one can argue if a table of statistics counts as "article text", but the spirit is that we generally should not store content in templates unless it is being used in more than one article. and even then, there is LST.
