This section lists articles within the scope of this project that have not been written yet, but should be. You may add here any article that is missing, either to request it from other users or to keep the list as a reminder to write it later. You can start the new article at any time, if you don't know how to do so check Wikipedia:Starting an article for detailed instructions about the system to do so and the basic requirements that an article should meet.
Articles may be removed from this list at any time when a legitimate article or stub has been created. Requests may be removed without the creation of the article, if the desired article would not meet some policy or guideline; but the reasons of such removal should be explained to the user that added it if possible.
- Before writing the article search for it, even if it's listed here. The article may already exist, under another name.
- Note the original name in French and Haitian Creole of the topic of the article, next to the name. However, notice that this is not always needed. As a general rule, a special and unique name attached to a special and unique concept or thing should be translated, a name that is just made of common words, whose meaning isn't different than what the words really mean, should not be translated. For example, "Maison Blanche," needs to be translated (it does not mean some generic house of white colour, but a specific building), but "President of Haiti" or "Government of Haiti" do not. In addition, proper names of people (usually in French) should not be translated into Haitian Creole.
- Neutrality between French and Haitian Creole should always be kept. French should not be removed in favor of Haitian Creole where it isn't justified and vice versa. For example, article Haïti Chérie, should not be renamed to Ayiti Cheri as this is not the original spelling of the song, although it can be noted in the article header itself.
- Remember to add interwiki links to other projects and link to the new articles at those that are related.
