From the editors

Welcome to the September edition of the Bugle!

This month marks the end of the XIII Coordinator Tranche, and we'd like to take this opportunity to thank those editors who volunteer their time to assist with the routine housekeeping tasks need to help keep the project running smoothly. New coordinator elections have started, so if you have a moment please do swing by to read up on and vote for the incoming coordinators for the XIV Tranche.

In other news, Hawkeye7 and AustralianRupert have contributed to three book reviews this month covering the economics of warfare, the Allied air campaigns over the Empire of Japan during World War II, and the Australian 12th Light Horse Regiment. TomStar81 has also contributed another op-ed piece covering the overall failures of the Allied Powers in September of 1915 and to the ongoing World War I timeline.

Finally, a reminder that with Ian Rose and Nick-D currently away (more or less) for the next two months, this edition of the Bugle was brought to you in part by a dedicated group of volunteers who came together to make sure you get your monthly newsletter. If you have a suggestion for a story or a comment for the crew, we are all ears.
