Project templates[edit]

To be placed at the top of talk pages of articles covered by the associated WikiProject:

  • ((WikiProject Psychology)) – wikiproject banner
  • ((Psychology tasks)) – a list of tasks to include in Project pages or your own user space

Welcoming new users[edit]

If a new user edits a psychology-related article, put Template:Psychology welcome on their Talk page, like this: ((subst:Psychology welcome)) ~~~~ to invite them to this WikiProject.

Stub templates[edit]

Place one of these at the top of an article's talk page to identify it as a stub.

Awards for users[edit]

The Psychology Barnstar can be given to reward major contributions to the goals of the Wikiproject. Add the following line to the user's Talk page, substituting your personal message. ((subst:Psychology Barnstar|message ~~~~))

Other[edit]

These are the main psychology navigational aids, although there are many more for specific topics.

  • ((Portal|Psychology)): For the "See also" sections of psychology articles
  • ((Psychology sidebar)): normally put on the right of an article
  • ((Psychology)): at the foot of an article

((Medical resources)) - at the foot if an article, allows you to enter identifiers for various databases or coding systems. FOr example, ICD or MeSH.

When discussing the reliability of source, have you ever wondered, "how do I convince other users that a journal called Clearly Full of Lies is in fact clearly full of lies?" Well, there are a lot of places to check. Firstly, check if that journal has a Wikipedia article; sometimes, a really bad one will include mention of that on the article.
