[edit]

BurpTheBaby (talk · contribs) is clearly a new account. While there is no evidence he is involved in vote-stacking, it's not unusual to tag such accounts as "special purpose accounts" with ((spa)), as described on WP:SPA. Odds are this account is either a new account or a "segregation" account, to keep these edits out of the editor's main account's history. Odds are it is not a vote-rigging account. Besides, AfD is not a vote.

Due to edit-warring between User:BurpTheBaby and User:Frank Anchor, I've gone against tradition and created a list near the top of the AfD to hold all accounts with few or no edits outside of this topic. Being listed in this section should not prejudice this person's opinion unless there is evidence of vote-stacking.

That is acceptable as long as that is the only place the tag will be. Not every edit of mine needs to be tagged. I am into the issues of this debate and when people see that tag every time they may ignore what I have to say. Just because I'm new doesn't make my opinions irrelevant. --BurpTheBaby (talk) 04:08, 9 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
That is the intent. The normal convention is to tag every edit. "Every edit" is usually only 1 or 2 in a given AfD though. However, sticking to the convention was itself becoming disruptive due to increased edit conflicts, even without your reversions. When process gets in the way of product, sometimes it pays to ignore all rules and get creative. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs)/(e-mail) 04:25, 9 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Good, Frank agreed on the project page. Lets stay WP:Civil from now on and stick to the issues. --GoHuskies9904 (talk) 04:15, 9 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Looks like we can all agree on something. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs)/(e-mail) 04:25, 9 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Chart of schools

[edit]

Please allow davidwr or others to finish the chart of schools that was stasrted before this AfD was closed. It will be very informative and helpful for future discussion/afd. seems like a WP:IAR case to me. Frank Anchor Talk to me (R-OH) 19:59, 10 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I suggest creating a new page under WP:CENT and continuing the discussion where it left off. Sandstein was right to close this, because the discussion no longer resembled an AfD, as that is just not the most efficient venue for this type of deep involved discussion. But there is no reason the discussion can't continue elsewhere. --Jaysweet (talk) 20:01, 10 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
agreed about the closing, consensus was going nowhere. however, the chart should be completed either here or elsewhere despite the rules surrounding completed AfD discussions. Frank Anchor Talk to me (R-OH) 20:03, 10 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Find a central location, then copy and finish the chart. I've made a suggestion on Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Ohio#Centralized Discussion for reorganization of high school football conferences to use Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Ohio/HS Football Conferences 2008 Reorg, but it's only polite to let the WP:OHIO participates have a chance to say "no" before I start the page. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs)/(e-mail) 20:12, 10 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Go here instead: Wikipedia:WikiProject Ohio/HS Football Conferences davidwr/(talk)/(contribs)/(e-mail) 20:14, 10 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I will notify all participants in the AfD. --Jaysweet (talk) 20:15, 10 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
