User Locked

Dear all,

I have problem that I don't understand. Some years ago I think my user was been locked because it was not a proper username according to Wikipedia's criteria. Then I have changed the username and now it seems ok, but I have still a problem in the Wikipedia portal on the Italian language. It seems that there my user is locked because of lock action of some years ago, even if the username has been changed. Could you tell me why or help me in some ways? In this way I can't write any article. I have also asked to an administrator but I didn't receive answers. Thank you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Pam955 (talkcontribs) 14:20, 10 June 2015 (UTC) Pam955 (talk) 12:34, 11 June 2015 (UTC)Pam955

@Pam955: This isn't the right page for your request. You should ask Xeno, who changed your username, to investigate. ~Amatulić (talk) 22:02, 11 June 2015 (UTC)

Jason Adelman - Undelete

wiki, my name is Jason Adelman and I was alerted by my business managers my Wikipedia was deleted after over a decade of it being published. I have been an actor, for decades starring in movies such as the Talisman, Must Be The Music (which won several awards), Uncle Sam (a cult hit) as well as recurring roles on network shows such as American Dreams where I co starred, S Club 7 in LA where I Guest Starred, The Client (guest starred) to name a few. I starred in one of the most watched and award winning videos Daniel Powters "bad day", co starred in The Back to the Future Trilogy with Kirk Cameron, co starred in the Gift with Laura Dern and Mary Steinbrgen, etc.. Last week my managers saw the wiki up for deletion due to sources not being cited so they cited all things. Then your editors stated my claim to fame was being engaged to Karina Smirnoff (which was recent and I had a tenure of credits on Wikipedia well before that so why would this hurt me only add to my notoriety). Finally , they stated ok I fixed everything but my team cannot source. Well if that was the original issue why can't they so we can adhere to the initial alert? As of a couple days ago the wiki page was sourced and compete. I have acted in more things than the majority of actors on Wikipedia so why is my recent articles in people and tmz and Us Weekly which state I'm an actor hinder my page versus help my notoriety? I am pleading with you to reinstate my Wikipedia page as it was a few days ago as everything was sourced. Right now it stands as being deleted which is not right as I put my heart and soul in acting and have been on your wonderful site for over a decade (not to mention the bachelor is considering me on their show and reinstatement of the page could only help). Please reinstate assp and if there any concerns I would be more than happy to address them , although I believe I have already. I put my life in this industry and would mean a lot to get this back up assp l. I look forward to your response. Thanks again!! Jason Adelman . Robot19332 (talk) 22:09, 22 June 2015 (UTC)

The Wikipedia does not exist to be an arm of your PR/marketing goals, I'm afraid. IMDB, Linkedin and social media sites are more suited for that sort of thing. This is an encyclopedia, one whose rules and guidelines change over time, and have become more conservative in terms of what it keeps and what it deletes, so something that may have been ok in 2005 may be not-ok in 2015. Notability is Wp:NOTINHERITED from more famous people you may be attached po, so anything that name-drops you in the context of this Karina Smirnoff is a non-starter. As for the acting roles, I think there's a bit of exaggeration going on here, e.g. the pivotal role playing JENNY garths brother in Danielle Steel's Star, where the IMDB page shows you 20th (out of 24) in the billing. Unless there are genuine reliable sources that are actually about you and in-depth...not 20th billings, not name-drops, not "look who so-and-so just got enraged to" that is actually covering that person, a Jason Adelman article will be deleted, swiftly.
