- We actually inserted "and copyright violations" following one of the main article's sources, a 2016 Vice piece currently used as citation #33. Vice said over 300 accounts were using Commons via Zero to host pirated content. Although WMF may not have explicitly spoken about the isssue when it was shut down, there are Phab tickets as well as participation in discussions at Commons Village Pump circa 2017 that show they were aware of the problem.
