Winston is an unincorporated community, formerly incorporated as a city, in southwestern Douglas County, Georgia, United States.

History

The community was named after "Uncle Jackie" Winn, a pioneer citizen.[4]

The Georgia General Assembly incorporated Winston as a town in 1906.[5] The town's municipal charter was repealed in 1995.[4]
