Yelyzavethradka (Ukrainian: Єлизаветградка; Russian: Елизаветградка) is a rural settlement in Kropyvnytskyi Raion of Kirovohrad Oblast in Ukraine. It is located on the right bank of the Inhulets, a right tributary of the Dnieper. Yelyzavethradka belongs to Oleksandrivka settlement hromada, one of the hromadas of Ukraine.[1] Population: 1,112 (2022 estimate).[2]
Until 18 July 2020, Yelyzavethradka belonged to Oleksandrivka Raion. The raion was abolished in July 2020 as part of the administrative reform of Ukraine, which reduced the number of raions of Kirovohrad Oblast to four. The area of Oleksandrivka Raion was merged into Kropyvnytskyi Raion.[3][4]
Until 26 January 2024, Yelyzavethradka was designated urban-type settlement. On this day, a new law entered into force which abolished this status, and Yelyzavethradka became a rural settlement.[5]
