Zarkak (Persian: زركك, also Romanized as Zargak)[3] is a village in, and the capital of, Balaband Rural District[4] of the Central District of Fariman County, Razavi Khorasan province, Iran.
At the 2006 National Census, its population was 450 in 102 households.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 275 people in 76 households.[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 334 people in 94 households.[2]
