Welcome to Wikipedia, Darubrub! I'm Hellothere4 and an active editor here. Thank you for your changes. I just wanted to say hi and welcome you to Wikipedia! If you have any questions check out Wikipedia:Questions, or send me a message on my talk page. I like to help new people, so don't be afraid to leave a message! I hope you like Wikipedia and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:
Please wait a bit after a report at VIP has been taken care of before you comment that it's done. If the admin is trying to add a reply, you can cause an edit conflict. Thanks. --Auntof6 (talk) 13:39, 12 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Just so you know, quick deletion requests are usually dealt with all at the same time. If you mark a page as G10, it will not get dealt with any quicker than a page marked as G3, or G1, or any other criteria. All of them go to CAT:QD, where administrators will delete them. --Belwine (talk) 18:35, 12 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Hello. I noticed you have been tagging articles with issues recently. Please try and solve these issues yourself instead of tagging them. These tags often stay on for years, because we are quite a small community here at simple, and it just makes the article look worse before it (maybe? eventually?) is solved. --Belwine (talk) 13:34, 13 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Hello, Renamed user ejiwheismwkwiwkqlroi21. You have a new email! Please check it at your convenience. Message added 18:13, 13 April 2021 (UTC). You can take off this notice at any time by removing the ((You've got mail)) or ((YGM)) template.
The page you wrote, Template:Cs-stub, has been selected for quick deletion. If you think this page should be kept, please add ((wait)) below the line ((QD)) and say why on the talk page. If the page is already gone, but you think this was an error, you can ask for it to be undeleted. You can find more information about the reason here. --Belwine (talk) 18:31, 13 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Hi there! I saw you welcomed an IP address with a user welcome. Firstly, if you are welcoming an IP you should use the IP welcome rather than the regular welcome. Also, I think the general policy of Simple wiki is to not use the welcome template for IPs at all or users unless they've made a few helpful changes. Might just be something worth bearing in mind! Milo, Talk, Contribs16:41, 15 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
You are banned from appealing unblock request. It seems like that you need to wait for 6 months at least before request to unblock after you are blocked.
Repetitive unblock request will lead to unnotice of the admins, I think so!
BTW, I am like you. And, as User:Ferien suggest me, I have to wait for 6 months but still I ain't sure whether I will get unblock or not!
Haoreima (talk) 07:22, 16 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I'm allowed to make a appeal again in August to UTRS or September to ArbCom. I'm not sure if there is a difference between a duck block and a check user block. Darubrub (Let me know) 12:27, 16 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Please do not give warnings after last warnings. It makes it look like the last warnings don't mean anything. As RacoonyRE's Huggle detected no lvl 4 warnings last, it is now warning from lvl 1 again (see here... Huggle gives warnings automatically) --Ferien (talk) 18:36, 16 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I was going to add a source, but I reverted since I need a better source that is on-topic. Darubrub (Let me know) 15:41, 19 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I don't really see the point in removing ((no sources)) templates when you are going to add a source because something like this can happen and you can just remove the template when you add your source. --Ferien (talk) 15:48, 19 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, but the page was created with ((talk header)). At least in my opinion, talk pages should be created with discussion on it. And the talk header does not have to be on every talk page. --Ferien (talk) 17:47, 21 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
The comment was added within a minute, clearly they intended to have a comment on it and perhaps accidentally hit publish before they did, who knows. Sometimes you have to use a little common sense. If they had only added the header and never put something on again then it would be completely fine to comment about it but that was clearly not the case here. There is no rule that they couldn't have the comment on it in a second edit. All I am saying is go a little easy. -Djsasso (talk) 18:40, 21 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
It is not a big deal now that there is discussion, yes, it is just advice for the future if Darubrub was creating the talkpage just for the header. --Ferien (talk) 18:47, 21 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
That is an exception to the rule. Same with rfd keep templates and did you knows and GAs and VGA nominations, they go on the talk pages because there's nowhere else it can really go. --Ferien (talk) 12:08, 23 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
So I am not quite sure what it is you are attempting to do on pages. Such as The talk page of Dormant Volcano. You didn't add a heading and it looks like you copied/pasted another users comments, however, you forgot everything in between to give it meaning. Can you correct this please? PotsdamLamb (talk) 15:08, 23 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I'm not sure what you mean copy/paste another comment, I just added a untitled header. Darubrub (Let me know) 15:10, 23 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I looked through the diffs and no one added a header, just adding and messing with the unsigned template. Darubrub (Let me know) 15:14, 23 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
The very first history entry states Created page with "I would add that the dormant volcanoes aren’t active all the time and that there one of the least popular volcanoes." by an IP editor. You should not be messing with templates on articles, if you want to mess with them, please use the sandbox or create your own page. Also, please ping me by adding ((ping|PotsdamLamb)) in your replies so I can be alerted you replied. PotsdamLamb (talk) 15:22, 23 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I am aware of that, however, you stripped the actual date and time it was posted by doing that. It would help if you were not refactoring others' comments or repasting them. If you want it to appear again, you will need to do a rollback. PotsdamLamb (talk) 15:28, 23 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
This is for all the anti-vandalism work you have been doing recently! It is recognised and very much appreciated. Keep it up :) --Ferien (talk) 19:48, 23 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Why is there this Wikipedia? What can you do with it? I was looking at some pages and all of them have little text. Why what?--Lentoster (talk) 22:46, 26 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Damnit, sorry I reverted the edit. I like to respond to vandalism when I see it in the blink of an eye. Sorry about that. RPBG💬🖊17:59, 28 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
My sandbox pages are in use as I am developing articles. I just moved the mainspace article and was going to shortly fix the redirect. This is in my userspace and within policy. Please do not request QD without knowing the situation. Thank you. Desertborn (talk) 13:12, 29 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Ok, no objections. I would usually do that for me when I move my drafts to mainspace. Darubrub (Let me know) 13:13, 29 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
If that is needed I can take care of it myself. It had only been a few seconds since the move, so no need for you to help. But I appreciate the desire to be helpful. Desertborn (talk) 13:15, 29 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Ok. Try to see who did it and what did they change. I already requested a global block on the steward requests. Darubrub (Let me know) 17:41, 29 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for wanting to help, but please leave unblock requests for the admins to handle, even if they're clearly in bad faith. There are a couple of reasons for this. First, if an admin sees that a user is creating bad unblock requests, they might choose to take some additional action, such as removing talk page access or maybe extending the block. If such requests get removed, we might not see them.
Second, when an unblock request is removed by a non-admin, it can cause hard feelings toward the user who removes it. It's better not to provoke the blocked user. Let the admins deal with it; it's part of our job. Thanks! --Auntof6 (talk) 14:17, 9 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
G7 only applies if the author blanks. it can be a test page though if they create and blank. How you tag is up to you. --Ferien (talk) 12:00, 10 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
As a reminder, just because it can possibly be spam, does not mean it is. You need to have a valid reason to tag it and the person who tagged it with only 11 edits made up their own criteria which is why I reverted it and put a note on their talk page. I noticed you then went and gave it a proper tagging so I appreciate that. PotsdamLamb (talk) 15:37, 12 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Hey wanted to let you know an IP created a very similar page that I put in for QD for what wiki is not Tornado preparedness now I see a signed-in user who literally just created their account has done pretty much the same article Tornado safety. Up to you, but the redirect should be removed, and the page QDd under A2. PotsdamLamb (talk) 17:35, 12 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for letting me know that it is an SPA's work, but I don't think I will remove the redirect. Feel free to discuss with others if the redirect should be removed in the talk page. Darubrub (Let me know) 17:37, 12 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
You need at least 512 MB RAM to load Wikipedia properly, as 128 or 256 MB can be slow. For example, Nintendo 3DS (128 MB RAM) takes 20-30 secs to load, while Vodafone smart first 7 smartphone (512 MB) takes just 4 secs to load. 79.67.17.238 (talk) 12:52, 14 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I have 4GB of RAM in the computer I am using and 16GB of RAM in my other PC. Darubrub (Let me know) 12:53, 14 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Darubrub This will take 3 and 2.5 secs respectively to load Wikipedia, as RAM above 512 MB have almost no effect in performance. 79.67.17.238 (talk) 12:58, 14 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@79.67.17.238: I know, but I have extra RAM for some off-wiki tasks. Darubrub (Let me know) 13:00, 14 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@79.67.17.238: It is not enough for me since some applications and games I use require/recommend more RAM to run. 4GB is just good enough for basic tasks and 16GB is just enough for some games. Darubrub (Let me know) 13:07, 14 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@79.67.17.238: I am not sure about that. But yeah, RAM is not as important as the GPU for games. Darubrub (Let me know) 13:20, 14 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Can you please remove freaktofit.com from the blacklist and revert back his amendment. They only added Impotant and relevent links. Please let me know. Uttamsww222 (talk) 10:34, 15 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
(talk page stalker) @Uttamsww222: which "blacklist" did Darubrub add that website to, exactly...? Unless I'm mistaken, only administrators can add websites to the local or global spam blacklists. --Ferien (talk) 10:36, 15 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
(talk page stalker) @Uttamsww222: - I am in full agreement with the decision to place this website on a blacklist so it can no longer be put into an article. Not just yourself, but numerous people have started adding this to all sorts of articles (pretty much anything that has "health" in it). This is seen as promoting spam and advertising as it is a blog not an official source like Webmd or Scripps Hospital. PotsdamLamb (talk) 12:58, 17 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
As already said, I am not an administrator, and the site is not blacklisted even though I support such action. Darubrub (Let me know) 12:59, 17 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Vodafone smart first 7 smartphone has 512 MB (1x512 MB) RAM, whereas Apple Watch Series 3 has 768 MB (3x256 MB). The latter loads Wikipedia silghtly slower. 79.67.17.238 (talk) 16:09, 18 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Excuse me! Give me a break. I only just started the article. You cannot just add a tag when I have only just created it. Plus, Shawkat is a notable actress. Look her up! --82.23.69.143 (talk) 12:34, 20 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@82.23.69.143: You could've started the article in your sandbox, and then move it to the main space once it is ready. Darubrub (Let me know) 12:35, 20 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
the articles you are listing for deletion are actual articles this ip has somehow found a way to change article name without perms. TheOne17:17, 24 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Darubrub, you have asked for a citation regarding my change to the entry for Lewis Eisenberg. There can be no citation. He was described as "Jewish-American". That is not a nationality - he is simply "American". It was inserted by an anti-Semite deliberately to suggest dual allegiance. "Jewish" should therefore be deleted. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Aitchian (talk • contribs) 18:38, 1 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Not sure still. Oh well, I’m gonna let others decide if your edit is constructive or not. Darubrub (Let me know) 18:44, 1 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Since I'm on your page for a moment, let me say the user's comment is quite right. You can't add the tag unless you can point to an indisputable source, meaning he has to say he wants to be described as Jewish-American. Otherwise, follow En wiki. Macdonald-ross (talk) 14:24, 21 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Darubrub, please remember to remove the noinclude to add your comment saying that it was deleted. Otherwise, it isn't visible on the Requests for deletion page. Thanks, --Ferien (talk) 06:12, 11 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
(talk page stalker) In fact, if you're talking about Adam the Great, that one should have been left for an admin to close. We don't usually do non-admin closures here, but when we do they should only be done when the discussion is unanimous to keep and the discussion has reached its end date. The closure of Adam the Great was improper for two reasons. First, the discussion was not unanimous for keeping and the end date had not been reached. Second, mention should have been made that the article was quickly deleted, and therefore the deletion was not as a result of the discussion. --Auntof6 (talk) 08:16, 11 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Hello Darubrub. Regarding your quick deletion nomination of Covery.ai: A page should only be nominated for G4 deletion if it has been deleted at RfD before. The deletion policy specifically says This rule cannot be used if the article was only quickly deleted with no request for deletion. so we can't use it on pages that have just been quick deleted. Best regards, --Ferien (talk) 18:41, 18 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia! Just in case you didn't know, when you post messages on talkpages and Wikipedia pages, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ("~~~~") at the end of your message. You can also click on the signature button ( or ), located in the edit toolbar, which is above the change window. This will put a signature containing your user name or IP address and the time you posted the message. This information is useful because other users will be able to tell who said what, and when. Pages that may require a signature, such as Talk:Verdis, User talk:184.166.252.50, User talk:103.48.102.179. Thank you for your participation. --Cewbot (talk) 16:13, 16 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
You keep reverting (and unreverting) edits I make in my userspace. Do you just not realize it's userspace? With removing my chunky placeholders from the Sally Hemings draft, I got it: that stuff is no good for a mainspace article, but what's up with me adding Ovis dalli dalli to my list of articles that Simple has and en.wiki doesn't? I'm not angry. I'm curious. Darkfrog24 (talk) 01:50, 24 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
It’s just a mispress since a simple thumb hold on the button will just do it. And for your other question, well, same reason with coconut flour. Not that much en-wiki users are willing to make it. Darubrub (Let me know) 01:52, 24 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Please, don't revert null edits by LTAs. They do not harm anyone, but reverting them is only feeding the troll. Especially in user talk namespace, most users can decide for themselves whether they want to revert edits like this. 1234qwer1234qwer4 (talk) 12:46, 25 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I notice this at pl-wiki where a reviewer got confused with the ips and instead reported me and another user to a local CU. The ip hopper usually goes back to the same IP in ~3 months or so. Darubrub (Let me know) 21:22, 30 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Hi I’m just asking you do you think admin tools would help you? Given that you seem to be vandal fighting day in day out I was wondering if you would like to become an admin. That’s my eventual goal as I aim to become an admin here in the next year before I submit another unban request on en wiki. I will put in the hard work. Thegameshowlad (talk) 16:56, 1 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Would like some admin tools, but not right now, especially since I am blocked on en-wiki and have to wait 24 more days to appeal the block. After that, I’ma try to get patroller. Then, after a while, maybe I’ll try a shot at RfA. Darubrub (Let me know) 16:58, 1 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I am in a similar position on en though I have to wait till December (I think I may leave it a few years though, I want to be an admin on here first). I tried in June and failed and I am happy to give you advice and help you try and get unblock. Also I don’t think you been blocked on en will affect anything here. I personally would suggest doing an RFA here first as having admin rights here would help you majorly (that’s what I’m doing) Thegameshowlad (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 17:14, 1 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
If you’re going that path, then that will take a while like a year or two judging from your talk page. I noticed that since that block didn’t stop me from rollback. Darubrub (Let me know) 19:21, 1 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
My advice to you would be to A) Submit an RfA when you feel ready. B) If it is successful wait 6 months then submit an unban request on en wiki. If it isn’t successful it may be best to wait a few months and try again. I would advise against submitting a request for unban on en before becoming an admin here, trust me I tried and failed because I hadn’t contributed on another project (ie here) and they advised me to do that first. I would suggest that you wait another year or 2 before submitting an unblock on en as a failed one always goes down badly with the admins. I have looked at your accounts on en and your socks and what you did was quite bad to be frank (worse than me, no arrogance intended). If you submit an unban request now I am almost certain it will fail. Thegameshowlad (talk) 19:38, 1 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for the advice, but the hole I dug isn’t as deep as yours. I am confident that I could make a successful appeal this month. Darubrub (Let me know) 19:54, 1 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
They are really strict. I will warn you that if you make an appeal this month if it fails (which I personally think it will fail) no one will consider another appeal for a good few months. Thegameshowlad (talk) 20:07, 1 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I suggest you just wait and see what happens with the checkuser situation, if something effects the vote the person with checkuser will likely make a comment about it there. Until then, there's not much to do. Fixing26 (talk) 14:46, 4 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
