Can anyone help add pictures? I tried, but it didn't work correctly.... C. Pineda 05:06, 17 August 2007 (UTC)
This isn't my strongest suit, could anyone help? C. Pineda 20:09, 20 August 2007 (UTC)
Only few characters are mentioned in the game articles. This is an expansion, including all of the game characters. For example, Paper Mario, the wiki for that game, it doesn't even include the star spirits!, let alone none of the articles have Mario's sidekicks included. This is a compilation of all Paper Mario Characters. I've also heard talk of merging with the Mario series characters. I don't think this should be. This is because Paper Mario is a different series, with different story line, and different characters. Every other single game gets to have their own wiki page for characters. Grant this one, what others have. C. Pineda 19:39, 28 August 2007 (UTC)
More characters will definetely be added, it just needs a little more time. I'll have to re-play all of the Paper Mario games. If only the other Paper Mario characters articles hadn't been so hastily deleted, then we could have merged them together into a new article. I just recently played through all of the first Paper Mario game so I'm able to contribute a little bit more to this article. 75.185.101.79 14:07, 31 August 2007 (UTC)
I'm going to do some cleanup in this in a bit. Specifically, removing stuff on how to beat bosses, etc., and get rid of the POV. — Malcolm (talk) 13:45, 5 September 2007 (UTC)
I added the Japanese character names straight from the Japanese Wikipedia articles. I have also provided some romanizations. The only "true English translation" I know of is Christina, as it has been mentioned in many sources: [1] [2] [3] etc. --Kaleb.G 22:54, 11 September 2007 (UTC)
I wasn't familiar with their Japanese names so I didn't know what to put down, thanks for including that info. Unknown Dragon 19:09, 12 September 2007 (UTC)
I read on a FAQ at GameFAQs that his color is based on the amount of time between when you obtain the egg, and when it hatches. I can find the exact FAQ if needed. I never read anything about it being based on the name of the file. --Kaleb.G 22:04, 12 September 2007 (UTC)
Image:Shadowpeach.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

It seems there is an oversight on the list. The other major characters in Super Paper Mario are missing - characters like Merlon, Nolrem, Squirps, and Luvbi. They're all fairly significant (based on what I read about Luigi's partners in TTYD, they're more important than those characters). Aielyn 10:07, 27 September 2007 (UTC)
I noticed that too, I haven't completely played Super Paper Mario yet though so I don't know very much about the characters, once I play it through though I will start adding info about the characters from that game. If anyone else can help with this I would appreciate it. Unknown Dragon 14:17, 30 September 2007 (UTC)
I recently completed the game, so I will be able to go through and add some characters as well clarify some details on the already existing entries. Devonaire 00:08, 4 October 2007 (UTC)
can you put the fact that Mario and Koops once thought that Kolorado's dead father was Koops' father by mistake?
I'm pretty sure that Mimi's name has something to do with the Mimivirus, since she can turn into a thing that looks like a virus during some battles. Geekboy72 (talk) 15:52, 18 November 2007 (UTC)
((editprotected)) Well, I was looking through this, and I noticed it said in the Villains section for Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door "A badge in Hooktail Castle allows Mario's attacks to sound like a cricket chirping and is able to weaken her (it she isn't weaken then she's too strong to defeat for the point of the game she encountered in)." And I was wondering if the part in parentheses could be changed to something like "If she isn't weakened, then she's too strong to defeat at the point of the game in which she's encountered." or something to that effect maybe please.
((editprotected)) The section on O'Chunks has a link to "Scottish", which is a disambiguation page and should be changed to Scottish English (probably piped to still say Scottish). Of course the next word ascent should be accent. Thanks. Ntsimp (talk) 15:27, 21 December 2007 (UTC)
I would very much like to start editting this article again, it says that the article is protected from editting until disputes are resolved, what exactly are the disputes taking place about this article? Unknown Dragon (talk) 19:35, 21 December 2007 (UTC)
You admins forgot to add Mr L to Count Bleck's forces and King K in the Glitz Pit characters. The Winged Yoshi —Preceding unsigned comment added by The Winged Yoshi (talk • contribs) 00:17, 14 January 2008 (UTC)
TTN: I don't have a particular horse in this race, but this is ridiculous. On a strictly procedural note, there's a general presumption that if an article survives AfD it shouldn't be deleted out of process. Since you did not actually merge any information to the series page, you shouldn't redirect the article in a way to make it difficult to access to most users. Now, if you want to discuss the article on the Series page and possibly merge thereafter, then fine, or if you think this content is unsalvageable you can re-AfD it. Let's not have a stupid edit war.
Also, somebody having the article in their sandbox doesn't mean anything. Wikipedia is a collaborative project. SnowFire (talk) 01:48, 2 February 2008 (UTC)
I have a feeling this is going to be deleted, so I'd recommend taking any useful info and copying it over to the Super Mario Wiki. That's the best place for Mario info anyway. --Kaleb.G (talk) 17:26, 27 July 2009 (UTC)
Please list any reasons why this content not be merged. TO begin, I will state why it should be. At no point ever does it acknowledge the necessity to assert notability, nor does it have the attention to the article to fix it. It's no coincidence that cleanup efforts conveniently coincide with AfD disucssions. - The New Age Retro Hippie used Ruler! Now, he can figure out the length of things easily. 06:41, 10 December 2009 (UTC)
I agree with New Age Retro Hippie. More than 70 (!) different characters are listed, yet there is virtually no information on development and reception for a single character of the bunch. But the article includes game guide-like sentences, such as "His move, Refresh, restores Mario's HP and FP by 5." Besides that, the article is simply an unsourced retelling of the storylines, which isn't needed in this form at Wikipedia. --Grandy02 (talk) 16:53, 12 February 2010 (UTC)
