You've helped with some edits on the Dashun Wang article previously, and I've added some more suggestions. Are you able to review them? Please let me know if there's a better way to make these requests. I appreciate your help!
@Moose181: Hi, I'll take a look at it over the coming days. To make it easier, could you please format the references as they would appear in the article? This means using a template like ((cite web)). Further instructions may be found at Help:Referencing for beginners. Please ping me again if I haven't responded within a week. Thanks! ARandomName123 (talk)Ping me!19:44, 9 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, thanks so much! I may not get to it tomorrow, but I'll do it early next week and let you know when I've finished. Moose181 (talk) 22:06, 16 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I've formatted the references, but I'm not sure if I did it correctly. Please let me know if I need to try again! Thanks again for your help! Moose181 (talk) 22:02, 23 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Moose181: I've responded on that talk page. If you have any new edit requests, please create them under a new section, as the initial one is getting a bit long. Thanks, ARandomName123 (talk)Ping me!23:49, 26 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. @IntelXeon s: Hi, I'm not quite sure what you mean. Do you have any questions related to Wikipedia I can help you with? Thanks, ARandomName123 (talk)Ping me!20:11, 19 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Oh, I'm sorry, I thought it was okay as they are the actual descriptions of the episodes from the producer themselves. I'll do some thinking about it and perhaps come back with some paraphrasing later, instead. Princessa Unicorn (talk) 02:20, 22 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Princessa Unicorn: Standard procedure for most copyright violations is to remove them from the page history. Since I'm not an administrator, the tag is to let admins know what needs to be revdelled. They'll remove it once they finish, usually within 24 hours. If you're worried about casual readers seeing it, I wouldn't worry, since the tag won't appear for them. It's only visible to logged in users. ARandomName123 (talk)Ping me!02:25, 22 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Once again, I'm sorry about all this trouble. I have no objections to your removals. I hope it doesn't take too long to fix it. I'm still working on improving the article. Princessa Unicorn (talk) 02:27, 22 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
It's fine, just remember to not copy-paste anything into Wikipedia in the future unless it is compatibly licensed. Feel free to continue work on the article, as the tag shouldn't affect your editing. Happy editing! ARandomName123 (talk)Ping me!02:30, 22 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Whatever you feel would be helpful. You and I seem to both be in agreement. And I just want to put this issue to rest and continue improving the page. :) Princessa Unicorn (talk) 23:42, 22 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hi there,
I just created an account on Wikipedia because I would like to either update or request an update to our Wikipedia page regarding the history of our Seminary (St. Vincent de Paul Regional Seminary). Is that something that we can edit ourselves or something that we need to request? Thank you in advance for your time and help! --Svdpsem (talk) 14:11, 22 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Svdpsem: Hi! Assuming you are related to the Seminary, you have a conflict of interest. It's best that you don't edit the page directly. Instead, you can make an edit request using Wikipedia:Edit Request Wizard/COI. Just follow the instructions there, and an editor will review your request eventually. Is the update a simple one or something more substantial? If it's fairly straightforward, I'd be happy to take a look at it. ARandomName123 (talk)Ping me!15:04, 22 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hello! A month ago, you had responded to an edit request on the Dragan Šolak (businessman) talk page. I wanted to see if you were interested in reviewing a couple more requests. I have several that have been up for a while where conversation has either stalled or never got off the ground. Thanks AlexforUnited (talk) 09:23, 24 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Because that would count as a copyright violation, which could create legal problems. To verify it, you have to see if the website contains any text along the lines of "Content is released under CC BY-SA 3.0". The vast majority of content on the internet is not released under a compaitble license, which means we can not copy it, even if the website does not explicitly have a copyright notice.
Since the document doesn't include any info about its copyright status, we have to assume it is copyrighted. As such, we can not copy-paste from it. However, you are allowed to use information from it to write your own summary. ARandomName123 (talk)Ping me!01:45, 20 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Question from Yuri Fainberg (00:52, 28 May 2024)[edit]
Hi, I'm Yuri Fainberg, I would like to replace or add a photo in an article about my father, dissident Victor Fainberg. The fact is that the article contains only one photo taken by a famous blind photographer (it's not a smoke). I admire this photographer, but still, my father looks quite strange in his photo. I could upload a photo from my home archive or, if possible, a fragment of photo from an article on the site meduza.io (preferably). How can I do it, please? Thanks in advance, with best wishes, Yuri. --Yuri Fainberg (talk) 00:52, 28 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Yuri Fainberg: Hi Yuri! A photo that you hold the copyright to would be preferable, so a photo from your home archive. If the photo has never appeared anywhere else (ex. online, or in a newspaper), you can upload it to Wikimedia Commons by following the instructions at c:Special:UploadWizard. You will then be able to insert the photo into the article. Please lmk if you need any clarification. Thanks! ARandomName123 (talk)Ping me!00:56, 28 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Question from LaLaGemini on DJ Pryor (06:54, 8 June 2024)[edit]
Hello. How do I edit and why does my editing keep getting deleted when I am the source. --LaLaGemini (talk) 06:54, 8 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@LaLaGemini: Hi, sorry for the late reply. Unfortunately, you can't use yourself as a source, since it's impossible for other people to verify. You're going to something published, like a news article, interview or website, which you can then cite. Alternatively, if the article subject has a personal website, you could cite that as well under limited circumstances. Please respond here or leave a post at Wikipedia:Biographies of living persons/Noticeboard if you need further assistance. Thanks, ARandomName123 (talk)Ping me!02:28, 9 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Question from Karen shibuse on OkCupid (17:44, 10 June 2024)[edit]
Hi ARandomName123, a few weeks ago you declined to add some information related to one of Brian Chesky's donations to nonprofits supporting COVID-19 relief efforts due to Newsweek not being reliable. I found another source, the San Francisco Chronicle that also mentions Chesky donated $10 million for COVID relief efforts, do you think this would work? Thanks for all your help here. PY Airbnb (talk) 22:24, 10 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@UltraEp06: You would need to prove it is notable first. Are there any news articles covering your team? Has your team done anything of note? If not, then it may not be suitable for Wikipedia. Please keep in mind that the vast majority of online game teams are not notable enough for Wikipedia; usually only top eSports teams have an article. Please see Help:Your first article for more information. ARandomName123 (talk)Ping me!17:15, 23 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hello
I have created a page Tarsem jodhan, but it’s not published yet. Do I need to publish? Please help. TIA --Njodhan (talk) 22:19, 25 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Njodhan: Hi, you would need to put it through Wikipedia:Articles for creation first. To do this, just add ((subst:submit)) to the top of your draft (remember to switch to the source editor first). If you see a yellow box saying "Review waiting, please be patient", you have successfully submitted for review. On a side note, I'd highly advise adding some citations first. ARandomName123 (talk)Ping me!23:15, 25 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
It is not AI generated. I genuinely have no idea how to use this site correctly and/or implement citations correctly. This is a pretty niche part of history but it is absolutely true and happened. I can point you in the direction of reliable sources so you know the information is accurate. Sorry about the inconvience. HisotricalHoundofHistory (talk) 00:16, 1 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@HisotricalHoundofHistory: Hi, in that case, sorry for accusing you of using AI. Where did you get the information for the articles from, if the currently listed sources are incorrrect? I can help you implement the citations correctly. ARandomName123 (talk)Ping me!00:17, 1 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
The Holy Roman Empire: A Historical Encyclopedia [2 volumes] (Empires of the World) by Brian A. Pavlac (Author) and Elizabeth S. Lott (Author) --- The Medieval Constitution of Liberty: Political Foundations of Liberalism in the West (https://muse.jhu.edu/pub/166/oa_monograph/chapter/3497285) and one of the citations I did use is just a book I own. HisotricalHoundofHistory (talk) 00:21, 1 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@HisotricalHoundofHistory: Regarding the first two books (The Holy Roman Empire: A Historical Encyclopedia and The Medieval Constitution of Liberty: Political Foundations of Liberalism in the West), do they mention the Kingdom of Turicum, Wilhelm I von Gilder or House Von Gilder? ARandomName123 (talk)Ping me!00:27, 1 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
the first one mentions them when it talks about the conference in worms when the fiefdoms were granted to the count wilhem von gilder, the second one mentions house von gilder in passing as it was a very "liberal" dynasty in regards to the treatment of people and policy and such. The third one I have has an extensive compendium Of the Holy Roman Empire in 925 ad and its vassals. Its where I got the family tree information for the dynasty. I will try to find it online but the compendium was written in 1918 so it may be hard to find. HisotricalHoundofHistory (talk) 00:36, 1 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
There is tons of missing medieval history on here. Kingdoms, duchies, city states that lasted a day. HisotricalHoundofHistory (talk) 00:39, 1 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@HisotricalHoundofHistory: Regarding the second one, can you provide a quote? I have access to that resource (through WP:TWL), and can not find any mention of house von gilder. Specifically, "Gilder" does not appear anywhere, and "Von" only appears twice in unrelated sections.
