Welcome![edit]

Hello, Dooklan, and welcome to Wikipedia! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of the pages you created, such as User:Dooklan/sandbox, may not conform to some of Wikipedia's content policies and may not be retained. In short, the topic of an article must be notable and have already been the subject of publication by reliable and independent sources.

Please review Your first article for an overview of the article creation process. The Article Wizard is available to help you create an article, where it will be reviewed and considered for publication. For information on how to request a new article that can be created by someone else, see Requested articles. If you are stuck, come to the Teahouse, where experienced Wikipedians can help you through the processes.

New to Wikipedia? Please consider taking a look at the our introductory tutorial or reviewing the contributing to Wikipedia page to learn the basics about editing. Below are a few other good pages about article creation.

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you have any questions ask me on my talk page or you can just type ((help me)) on this page, followed by your question, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Speedy deletion nomination of Taylor James Randall[edit]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Taylor James Randall requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Conflict of interest[edit]

Information icon Hello, Dooklan. Request reason:

Hello Wikipedia; I was just writing and uploading these pages for work; they're all real people, and everything on their page is factually true, I suppose I just didn't cite them correctly. I really need this job, and promise to upload them with better sources. One of my coworkers is teaching me how to write html and use Wikipedia, so hopefully that will stop future mistakes. Dooklan (talk) 19:32, 22 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

Specifically, what job are you talking about? Now that you have read and understood WP:COI, WP:PAID, and WP:PROMO, how does this apply to the edits you made so far? Yamla (talk) 19:55, 22 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

I'm a PR Correspondent for Emmanuel Bates Communications; this applies to my edits as the people I'm writing about are existing and notable, having been mentioned on Wikipedia but have no existing articles. While I can see the implications of my work being a conflict of interest, the information I provided was factual and provable. How can I get this information about these notable individuals to an acceptable standard for Wikipedia? Dooklan (talk) 00:58, 24 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

This request indicates to me that you do not understand the policies described by Yamla above. We are not interested in what a PR agency wants to say about its clients, but in what independent reliable sources with significant coverage have chosen on their own to say about a person, showing how they meet the special Wikipedia definition of a notable person. Wikipedia has no interest in enhancing search results or in anyone's "internet presence", only in summarizing independent sources. I am declining your request. 331dot (talk) 08:40, 24 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
