Used in History of the graphical user interface - will include valid fair use rationale and clarify source if file is undeleted. I'm aware that History of the graphical user interface is tagged with ((non-free)) but feel it would be better to judge the overall article with this screenshot included. Alternatively, I have a full screen version of File:Arthur Icon Bar 1987.PNG, which I could include as a new upload. -Trevj (talk) 12:27, 1 June 2011 (UTC)

See Talk:Eliza Doolittle: there was originally an article about the character and target for numerous links from actor articles; this was then "usurped" for an article about the singer who came to prominence in 2009, and deleted (presumably by an admin who forgot to check the history). I would like the content restored to Eliza Doolittle (character) so that disambiguation can proceed sensibly. -93.96.136.249 (talk) 08:00, 6 June 2011 (UTC)

This wiki post: "Quality Network Suggestion Plan" is a factual account of how the General Motors Employee Suggestion Plan was re-written, and the results that resulted. Every name mentioned, and every fact included, can be documented upon your request. The GM Quality Network Suggestion Plan was not only retianed during the 2009 government take-over of GM, but it in fact contributed to the further economic stability of GM by providing almost $1 Billion in additional savings over the old program from 1942 to 1991. The last time the page was deleted I had added in a sentence or two that gave an overview of Nomadesk. None of the information was from the website, simply off the top of my head... as a user. The article Everett "Small" Coleman" was deleted because it did not "indicate the importance or significance of the subject," however such a reason seems inappropriate. Coleman is a member of one of the top professional Halo teams, Str8 Rippin, and has a history as a member of the pro gaming community not dissimilar to that of other gamers whose pages have been reviewed and allowed to stay. At which point, I'd strongly urge reconsideration of the deletion. -Resser123 (talk) 19:06, 7 June 2011 (UTC)
You are mistaken. Coleman is and has teamed and competed alongside many of those that hold articles on Wikipedia. There is no more notability to many of those individuals that have articles. For example, Everett "Small" Coleman is currently teaming with Tom "Tsquared" Taylor. They are on the most well known competitive gaming team in Major League Gaming and they just recently placed second (12,000$) at a MLG event in Columbus OH. It is quite apparent that if many of these other professional gamers are worthy of Wikipedia space, then this article is plenty worthy.
I haven't received a response on here in quite some time. -Resser123 (talk) 15 June 2011
This file was deleted as unused non-free media. However, it's actually used at Kingdom songs, except that someone broke the link by correcting "Kingom" to "Kingdom". Thanks for answering. Are you an administrator? Yes, I looked at the log and could find no record of the article, but I know I'm not crazy, and that the article did exist, because I linked to it from other pages, for instance "Pops Orchestra". If you go to that article you will see a link to "Golden State Pops Orchestra", which I added, and which used to work. --scfry

I have made some edits to the "Wonder Girls" wiki site based on factual information that was published in one of Korea's best newspapers.
A person keeps deleting my edits and is treatening me.
I created a new page called: Korean Pop Music Scandals
This is a LEGITIMATE page.
There are numerous korean pop music scandals almost every week.
I began the page with the Wonder Girls Scandal and I intended to add other notable scandals.
I believe that an employee of JYPE is paid to monitor wikipedia - the same person who has been deleting my FACTUAL information about JYPE and the Wonder Girls there has demanded that my new category be removed.
Everything on my new category is true and verifiable.
Please do not do the will of a person who wants to misuse wikipedia and use it as a promotional tool.
I am trying to put the OBJECTIVE truth out here and this person is trying to conceal the truth.

reasoning: This deletion is quite unfair and unjustified. There are many many similar intellectuals, such as http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arindam_Chaudhuri who are already on the wikipedia. Samar Chatterjee's achievements and contributions are far superior to many scientists and technologists who are already on the wikipedia. Deleting this article is arbitrary and shows the ignorance of the person deleting it. No substantive rationale has been presented by the person deleting it. In fact, Samar Chatterjee's unique contributions to Environmental Science, Nuclear Waste Recycling and International Peace is extra-ordinary and exceptional. Several years ago, I created a user page with various images, most of them with some degree of erotic content, to use for research. Recently (approximately six months ago), the page (User:Nmatavka/N0rp) was deleted, as Wikipedia is not a repository for image galleries with no encyclopaedic purpose. I had long since ceased using that particular page for the purpose I had written it for, as I am no longer a constantly-aroused male adolescent. The tongue-in-cheek introduction at the top of the page, however, remained. I had no problems with the page being deleted, as I was no longer actively researching vintage erotica. It is worth knowing, though, that many of the images linked to on that page were orphaned. I am now considering creating a page, similar to the bad image list, its purpose being to maintain surveillance of certain images to prevent abuse. A good starting point for such a page, I think, would be User:Nmatavka/N0rp. Therefore, I would like to have that page restored, so I could move the gallery to the new page I wish to create; this new page would be a superset of the old one, as it would not now be restricted to erotica. Would it be possible to temporarily restore the page, or e-mail it to me, so I can accomplish this? -Nmatavka (talk) 07:39, 10 June 2011 (UTC)

Rationale was based on this record company being a "Reissue-only label", which was contradicted by the article's list of well-known artistes with first-issue releases and by the referenced BBC News article on the company's operation, which also discusses the Music Week awards won by the company (hence at least arguable as meeting WP:CORP). The existence of that BBC News article also contradicts the last part of the rationale, that the article has "no non-trivial sources" - the first time that I have seen BBC News classed as trivial. -AllyD (talk) 16:14, 12 June 2011 (UTC)

Re: LESLIE KENTON The article on Leslie Kenton, was immediately after I entered the preliminary biographic information. I am concerned that Wiki editors are too quick to interject / interfere with topics in which they have no special expertise.
LESLIE KENTON is the widely published author of more than 30 books on well being, beauty and health. She is the daughter of "famed jazz great, STAN KENTON." Ms. Kenton published a 2010 memoir entitled LOVE AFFAIR, describing her incestuous relationship with her celebrity father.
The article on LESLIE KENTON will be linked back to the article on STAN KENTON.
Wiki editors should not "immediately" delete article content, before there is sufficient time make the links to sources and expand on the article.
Lastly, I ask that certain administrators & others follow the policy guidelines of Wikipedia and present themselves as being helpful to newcomers. Wikipedia has more content than editors. Wiki encourages as much help as it can get; from knowledgeable potential editors. I advise that editorial actions be limited to subjects in which an editor holds a special expertise. Editorial actions on subjects unfamiliar to editors should be exercised with caution. Lastly, my contributions to Wiki comes to me at a loss of $490.00 an hour for billable legal time. If this deletion is a preface to what I can expect for donating my time, then I will refrain from donating my time and expertise in the future.

Untrue information posted
The following was posted as to why Metis Transit should be deleted.
Defunct transit system. Googling for this transit company indicates that it barely ever existed at all. It is not clear how the single bus operated actually ran, but it can't have been more than a month. At current time, it lives on only in the form of the very broken website, and there does not appear to be any actual plans for it to resume operating. As it was almost non-existent from its conception, it isn't particularly notable or encyclopedic.
The person who requested this was 100% incorrect. The company has other divisions as well that are fully active but the writer could not see this and only commented on the transit division.
I am requesting that the listing for Metis Transit be restored. -Metistransit (talk) 03:34, 14 June 2011 (UTC)

The reason for this article to be requested for undeletion is because the article was of a notible band WP:BAND the article was put into the Article Incubator were contributors worked on the article the article passed because it cited enough infomation regarding the notible band Falling In Reverse. The article was moved from the incubator on the 12th June 2011 and the article title/name was renamed from Falling In Reverse (Band) to Falling In Reverse to resemble the notible band on Wikipedia. Although there has been previous version on this article which where deleted through AfD the article was recreated and passed the WP:BAND dated above to only have been deleted again by user User:Jayjg who is believed to be a Moderator on wikipedia. Although he has deleted severeal times he has not put valid reason why he had deleted and locked article Falling In Reverse without researching why the article was moved from the article incubator to wikipedia the article met WP:BAND there was no valid reason to the deletion but G4: Recreation of a page that was deleted per a deletion discussion: Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Falling In Reverse) even though a discussion was created for multiple articles of the band these article kept moving around and swapped, blanked and destory by guest edits. Therefore a request was made that the article was made semi protected and that only members could edit parts of article Falling In Reverse this faild the conclution in the discussion and there was no contribution by any moderator is regards of the article's that had been put up for AfD & MfD. I believe that the article Falling In Reverse should be undeleted and that the article to remain the main wikipedia article for Falling In Reverse to avoid the confussion of the article beiong deleted the article should be semi - protected to avoid page blanks or any kind of article destruction. reasoning -Mabond17 (talk) 22:33, 14 June 2011 (UTC) I understand that the reasoning cited for the deletion of "Employment Law Alliance" is criteria G11 indicating that the page was "unambiguous advertising or promotion." Nothing about the content of this page was meant to entice a company or individual to engage the Employment Law Alliance for services. Rather, the page was strictly informational with all claims linked to sources per Wikipedia's guidelines. Over 3,000 lawyers in six continents and 120 countries are members of this alliance. These are simply the facts, and they can be accessed by viewing the member directory page on the Employment Law Alliance's website. This is not promotional or advertising. It is, rather, simply a ressutation of fact. As primary curator for the Employment Law Alliance's wikipedia page I can attest that a more in-depth, yet fully encyclopedic narrative was just days away from being implemented. I would greatly appreciate your reconsideration of this deletion. ~ mabond17
