Gorgeali has made an edit request for the salted title Draft:M.Zaid to be recreated. The user name of the new account is similar to the blocked alleged master account (Gorge vs Geroge) which has previously repeatedly created the draft and that in February replaced the article about cricketer Muhammad Zaid with content about the non-notable teenager. Having recently their sock banned, this editor is now using an IP, leaving me a complaint on my user talk page about a draft that I tagged for speedy deletion, and complaining to Poppified after they restored the speedy deletion tag that had been improperly removed. Notaeditor101 created their account yesterday; their first activity was to set up their user page where they give their name as Muhammad Zaid. The layout of the page is based on mine with identical elements like the master editor badge, AfC, Article Rescue Squadron and WikiProjecr YouTube user boxes. They've then gone on to do odd things to Muhammad Zaid Alam including a cut-and-paste move to a different title, presumably as the first step towards trying to create another autobiography. The sock has recreated the article in draftspace under a different title to conceal the deletion history and the references they have added are about a different person (Pakistani–Canadian YouTuber) with a similar name. Requesting CU because this doesn't appear to be a new account and I think that there is enough to at least suspect that it's related to Zaid Zayd/Geroge Mason. The main evidence is that they have recreated Dananeer Mobeen after it was deleted last week. The content is fairly similar, if memory serves me correctly. Both accounts are less than 2 days old but the editors seem very experienced. Is this potentially a sock of a long term vandal? Both users seem to be working on User:Danishali01/sandbox. User:Ehlboy uploaded a number of photos from IMDb (nominated for speedy deletion as copyright violations by me) of M.Zaid. User:Airrack also uploaded one image of M.Zaid from IMDb on to Commons (also nominated for speedy deletion as copyright violations by me). Both accounts have claimed to be the owner of this one image ([13] & [14]). While Ehlboy created a gallery page for M.Zaid on Commons, Airrack created the commons category for him. Airrack also uploaded a photo and created a category for Mahmood Ul Hassan on Commons, another failed draft by User:Muhammad Furqan Butt. The photo uploaded was taken in Brisbane, as was the since deleted File:M.Zaid in Brisbane.jpg which Muhammad Furqan Butt. As I gather from Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Zaid Zayd/Archive, Draft:Airrack was another draft created by one of the socks. There is just to much connection there for this to be coincidence! What tipped me off is diff in which Brascoian awards himself a barnstar signed by Ntrr123, despite Ntrr123 doing nothing of the sort. Ntrr123 is an account with 29 edits, much of them intersecting with Brascoian.

I then noticed the second barnstar was awarded by WizardingMZ, another low edit account (9 edits total, all on 22 June 2021), this one being made from the right account.

However, WizardingMZ shares with Brascoian the peculiarity of creating a user page with their first edit [15][16] and even odder creating a user talk page with a self made welcoming template/teahouse template [17][18] activities that are distinctly not new user like.

The two accounts were created less than a day apart, and intersect on Charles B. Fairbanks.

Added Mooonswimmer (talk+ · tag · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · spi block · block log · CA · CheckUser(log) · investigate · cuwiki). By itself wouldn't be too suspicious, but as yet another new account showing up to award a barnstar to Brascoian, it is. Obviously on a different device as this one uses the visual editors as opposed to advanced mobile for the other ones. In the interaction today Mooonswimmer creates Dominion (1995 film) without any formatting (however, yesterday, Moonswimmer was able to create an article with formatting, links, and references and has done so previously[19] and since). Brascoian then jumps in and makes various formatting changes during which Mooonswimmer is mostly silent (two possibly time submits at the same moment, but I'd assume these are two separate devices). Brascoian then requests a barnstar and goes silent Mooonswimmer awakes from his inactivity and awards the barnstar following by Brascoian modifying it 2 minutes later (+barnstar text modification). By itself not too suspicious, and technically there are differences from other accounts here, but the "dumbed-down" article creation here (an unformatted 400 byte article from a contributor regularly creating new articles with thousands to ten thousands bytes of formatted content) coupled with the pattern of newbies awarding barn stars worth a look.--Eostrix  (🦉 hoot hoot🦉) 13:25, 27 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I noticed all three users, and although I could block behaviorally, I suspect there are other accounts because of Brascoian's knowledge of certain Wikipedia processes that a brand new user would not know. The edit history of Antoine Viviani is interesting. Accepted at AFC by User:Luciapop (sock of Ugbedeg) and immediately tag teamed by a sock of the alleged master here.
