Village in Khuzestan, Iran
Abu Shanak (Persian : ابوشانك )[ a] is a village in, and the capital of, Bahmanshir-e Jonubi Rural District of the Central District of Abadan County , Khuzestan province, Iran .[ 4]
At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 1,031 in 161 households.[ 5] The following census in 2011 counted 652 people in 174 households.[ 6] The 2016 census measured the population of the village as 1,173 people in 352 households.[ 2]
