Alexandre Hayward (born 4 March 1997) is a Canadian cyclist.[1] He represented Canada at the 2023 Parapan American Games winning medals in both track and road events.[1]

Early life

Hayward was born in Campbellton, New Brunswick.[2] In 2012, Hayward suffered a spinal injury while playing ice hockey.[1][3] He began playing wheelchair basketball and represented Team New Brunswick at the Canada Games in 2015 and 2019.[3] He began cycling during the COIVD-19 pandemic.[3] He graduated from the University of New Brunswick with a degree in mechanical engineering in 2023.[1]
