Bent (Persian: بنت, also Romanized as Bint)[3] is a city in, and the capital of, Bent District of Nik Shahr County, Sistan and Baluchestan province, Iran,[4] and also serves as the administrative center for Bent Rural District.[5]
At the 2006 census, its population was 4,302 in 822 households.[6] The following census in 2011 counted 5,294 people in 1,245 households.[7] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 5,822 people in 1,503 households.[2]
