Nik Shahr (Persian: نیکشهر, also Romanized as Nīk Shahr; also known simply as Nīk; formerly, Geh and Keh)[3] is a city in the Central District of Nik Shahr County, Sistan and Baluchestan province, Iran, serving as capital of both the county and the district.[4]
At the 2006 census, its population was 13,267 in 2,365 households.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 15,889 people in 3,399 households.[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 17,732 people in 4,156 households.[2]
