Eshen (Persian: اشن)[a] is a village in, and the capital of, Eshen Rural District[4][b] of Mehrdasht District, Najafabad County, Isfahan province, Iran. The village is Persian-speaking.[6]
At the 2006 National Census, its population was 2,735 in 709 households.[7] The following census in 2011 counted 2,816 people in 865 households.[8] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 2,748 people in 876 households. It was the most populous village in its rural district.[2]
