Kaftarak Rural District (Persian: دهستان كفترك)[3] is in the Central District of Shiraz County, Fars province, Iran. Its former capital was the village of Nasrabad.[4]
At the National Census of 2006, its population was 32,436 in 8,287 households.[5] There were 10,043 inhabitants in 2,815 households at the following census of 2011.[6] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 14,485 in 4,438 households. The largest of its 18 villages was Mah-e Firuzan, with 3,203 people.[2]
