Kalashtar (Persian: كلشتر), also Romanized as Kaleshtar, Keleshtar, and Kolashtar; also known as Kalishtar,[3] is a village in, and former capital of, Kalashtar Rural District[4] of the Central District of Rudbar County, Gilan province, Iran. The capital has been transferred to the village of Jamalabad-e Kuseh.[5]
At the 2006 National Census, its population was 1,272 in 409 households.[6] The following census in 2011 counted 1,314 people in 438 households.[7] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 32 people in 11 households.[2]
