Karchekan (Persian: كرچكان, also Romanized as Karchegan and Karchegan; also known as Garchegan and Karchegan)[3] is a village in, and the capital of, Cham Rud Rural District of Bagh-e Bahadoran District, Lenjan County, Isfahan province, Iran.[4]
At the 2006 National Census, its population was 2,454 in 665 households.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 2,819 people in 852 households.[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 2,313 people in 732 households. It was the largest village in its rural district.[2]
