Kareh Dan (Persian: كره دان, also Romanized as Kareh Dān; also known as Kahardān and Kahredān)[3] is a village in, and the capital of, Bar Aftab Rural District of Danakuh District, Semirom County, Isfahan province, Iran.[4]
At the 2006 National Census, its population was 384 in 90 households, when it was in Padena-ye Olya Rural District of Padena District.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 299 people in 87 households.[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 481 people in 155 households,[2] by which time the rural district had been separated from the district in the establishment of Danakuh District.[4]
