Komarovka (Russian: Комаровка) is a rural locality (a khutor) in Platavsky Selsoviet Rural Settlement, Konyshyovsky District, Kursk Oblast, Russia. Population: 5 (2010 Russian census);[2] 11 (2002 Census);[6]
The khutor is located on the Svapa River (a right tributary of the Seym River), 37 km from the Russia–Ukraine border, 85 km west of Kursk, 23 km south-west of the district center – the urban-type settlement Konyshyovka, 9.5 km from the selsoviet center – Kashara.[7]
Komarovka has a warm-summer humid continental climate (Dfb in the Köppen climate classification).
