Piatypillia[a] or Proletarske[b] is an urban-type settlement in Makiivka municipality, Donetsk Raion, Donetsk Oblast, eastern Ukraine. Population: 3,155 (2022 estimate).[2]
The town is located in the central part of Donetsk Oblast, in the Donetsk-Makiivka conurbation. It is located 21 kilometres (13 mi) east of Donetsk city center, and 4 kilometres (2.5 mi) southwest of Khartsyzk. It has an elevation of 220 metres (720 ft).[1]
Proletarske was founded in 1937. It received urban-type settlement status in 1956.[1]
